He also said that Medicare is socialism and that the tax code should be ditched. Tea Party and “vetting” go together like water and oil.

If only we listened. 2008 would have rocked for seniors.

  2. Enlightened Liberal says:

I disagree. He is “vetted” by the Teabaggers. Thing is, what Teabaggers are for isn’t what 95% of the country is for.

  3. Repack Rider says:

By all means, let’s give our SS money to the same people who brought us Reagan’s S&L crisis in the ’80s and the Bush crash of 2008, sticking the taxpayers with the losses both times while they waltzed off into the golden sunset with bonuses intact.

How many times does a conservative have to be ripped off before he stops giving money to criminals?

So far we haven’t hit that number yet.

  4. Matt Osborne says:

Rand Paul, libertarian opthalmologist and gift that refuses to stop giving!

Actually, I don’t blame him. He’s controlled by the tribble on his head…

  5. Pryme says:

Rand Paul almost wins The Crazy Award, but Michelle Bachmann beats him out by saying: “what has transpired in the last 18 months and would we count what has transpired into turning our country into a nation of slaves.”

Sometimes I expect Batman to swoop in on one of these guys and say, “Alright; you’re going back to Arkham.” At this point it would make about as much sense as the things they say.

  6. SteveCo says:

He seems to only support the “asshole” side of the Libertarian agenda… get rid of the “social safety-net,” but he’s not for ending the drug war, he isn’t pro-immigration, nor does he believe the evil “gubermint,” should stay out of the private medical lives of women. Other than that, he’s all pro-freedom and shit.

  7. jrfunkenstein says:

This guy is totally unhinged; no wonder he’s a Bagger icon.

  8. Toni says:

    What a maroon.

  9. Why is the government in the pension business? Because history previous to the legislation shows private industry stealing employee pension funds. Ever since, an FDIC type organization annually must take in pension plans where private industry fails. Private industry has not been successful in any pension plan ever.
