Glenn Beck Recycles Black People

7:36 pm EST June 25th, 2010 | Conservative | 30 Comments

New York City is a very big city. It has a population of over 2 million black residents according to the 2000 census, the largest of any U.S. city. So, there’s a pretty big pool of people to deal with. And yet, for his most recent revisionist history show, Glenn Beck had to recycle from his show a month ago about black history.

  1. Repack Rider says:

Most of his friends are Black.

It’s just that he doesn’t have very many friends, so three is a majority.

  2. jr says:

They could have at least flown in NATE

  3. Burn says:

“Black people enjoyed being slaves, they were happier then before yankee aggression made them poor and unhappy” Perfesser Glenn Beck and his chalkboard

  4. Pryme says:

Much like Jonah and his stupid “Liberals = Fascists” book, if someone doesn’t short-circuit Beck’s latest fantasy years from now he’ll be claiming that he inherited the Civil Rights mantle from Dr. King.

  5. Randy Brown says:

Actually, Burn, Patrick J. Buchanan said something to that effect many years ago. And we all know that Buchanan is to the right of Hitler (who Buchanan though was “misunderstood”).

  6. mambochicken23 says:

Uh huh. Not even trying to make sense or to connect to the topic of the thread anymore, eh?

  7. Wilfredo says:

Hey, it’s almost like Woody Allen directed the GB show!
Do I have to explain that joke?

  8. Enlightened Liberal says:

Probably because the blog is named “Oliver Willis” and not “stupid con douchebag.”

  9. Randy Brown says:

    Touche’!

  10. jrfunkenstein says:

‘Why isn’t this post tagged under “Hey, don’t look at what a horrible President we rubes elected?”’

Because Bush is now a private citizen getting drunk off his ass in Dallas everyday.

You might want to keep up.

  11. Dennis says:

juniorfunky, might you have anything at all that lends even a hint of credibility that you’re a Canadian who has a clue about what he’s claiming?

  12. The Dark Avenger says:

No, Denise the Dense, you’re the only one here who doesn’t have a clue about what you’re defending, but that’s only par for the course with you.

  13. Dennis says:

Defending, DA? I haven’t seen one word written about Bush drinking post-Presidency. I’m just calling bullshit on the Canadian’s bullshit claim.

Since you are so eager to defend his bullshit, do you have a link showing Bush drunk or verification that he’s been drinking a lot lately?

Maybe you could post something on your psychotic blog.

  14. timmy says:

Ah, but can you prove that Bush is not drinking? Ha! I win. And any rebuttal on your part doesn’t count since I won’t be back on this thread because my time is more important than your time so La La La La Loser…

  15. The Dark Avenger says:

I’m just calling bullshit on the Canadian’s bullshit claim.

If he prefaced it by “Some people say”, would that have made the joke more apparent to you, Denise the Dense?

Since you are so eager to defend his bullshit, do you have a link showing Bush drunk or verification that he’s been drinking a lot lately?

Perhaps you are so defensive about the subject because you have personal knowledge of such behavior yourself, and now you’re being defensive because you’re afraid the secret is out now.

Or maybe you’re just trying to take offense with what is obviously an insult that is pretty plausible, after all, you’ve yet to offer any evidence that Bush hasn’t been drinking himself into a stupor every night.

Maybe you could post something on your psychotic blog.

Well, because the subject is psychotic(or is it psychotic to post real quotes made by a psychotic, as can be found at my header of my blog?) perhaps you could demonstrate an ability to create a blog, psychotic or not, as you please.

    Your wish is my command.

  16. I don’t understand the point of this post?

Is it that some black people returned to the show?

    Isn’t that a good thing?

Are you saying there were no other black people on the show – ever?

I don’t even watch the show, and I doubt that.

    So, what’s the point?

  17. Zython says:

    I don’t understand

Never have I seen such a precise and brief self-summary. Bravo, Frank, bravo!

Are you saying there were no other black people on the show – ever?

If there were, then why not let THEM speak?

  18. Zython, will you EVER stop being a tool?
You are not funny, clever, or for that matter, even useful.

How do you suppose I might get them to speak, Zython?

You’re so very clever – tell me how?

The question remains unanswered (as it always does, following your comments, which are nothing more than childish attempts to “one – up” me, that accomplish nothing) : What is the point of the post ?
That there are no black people in the audience of the Glen Beck Show?

How many black people are in the audience – or on screen , for that matter – on MSNBC?

  19. Michael Over Here says:

    Photoshopped?

  20. Zython says:

Zython, will you EVER stop being a tool?

What, pray tell, am I a tool OF?

How do you suppose I might get them to speak, Zython?

    I was referring to Beck.

That there are no black people in the audience of the Glen Beck Show?

Well, technically three, but that’s what I got out of it. Like I said, if there were more, why doesn’t GLENN BECK (because you’re so good at context) ask them, instead of the same two people?

  21. Ian says:

    He’s doing that already.

  22. mommadona says:

Beck admitted on his show that he actually emails people to see if they can come to a taping….. I mean….. Springer had ‘walkups’ #justsayin

  23. TONITA says:

OH PLEASE Liberals have no arguments expect about race. BEING an intelligent black woman I would like an article with a little more substance and stronger argument . STOP pulling the race card YOU are RECYCLING your tired argument.

  24. Roosevelt Freeman says:

You mean Chris Matthews other liberals don’t?

Do you have a problem with the content of the program which is far more important than the personalities?

If your allegation is that what was presented was revisionists history, it would be far more intellectually honest for you to concentrate on debunking the substance.

It’s a commonly held belief amongst conservatives, that liberals such as yourself run out of substantive arguments against content rather quickly and that is why you resort so quickly to personal attacks.

  25. MR LIBERALNOT says:

    OLIVER WILLIS LOL LOL
Just like a typical Liberal. Instead of discussing any of the information covered on Glenn Beck Show. He makes up a story about recycling the audience lol lol. He did not even mention that Vanessa Jean Louis has a very nice conservative blog. Leave it to the Liberals to pull the race card.
The topic says Glenn Beck , Race lol lol. He has been talking about important people in American history every Friday for weeks.

  26. Joanne says:

Here’s a YouTube video put up by our local Tea Party movement, which contains approximately 5 3/4 minutes of “interviews” that feature people of color as compared to roughly 5 1/4 minutes featuring folks of apparent European descent.

    http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1103511886683&s=641&e=00148Zj7rfJe4sKQfV1uOLVtDLtgv1dVcIZ3LJ5dVCf9u3hzXGrefrw80B69-gws3FxoKnKzB_YrHH58tLCZC8wyJL_6WoON1inKXZrktx5dMFmUT_37anX2m9hZApOjwGPWbNXuYktjIM=

I’d say that either we have a disproportionately high number of people of color in our local Tea Party movement compared to the national average or this video was produced with a deliberately disproportionate emphasis on interviews with people of color, presumably to make some kind of point.

Anyone think it’s more likely to be the former than the latter?

    Me neither…

Of course, in their apparent effort to over represent the actual share of people of color that were amongst all the participants at this event, they are probably just following Glenn’s lead, as any good Tea-bagger ought do.

Certainly can’t quote you an exact number on that, Frank, but I’m looking at an African American commentator on MSNBC right now, and I believe that there was an African American astophysicist interviewed on Countdown last night, Professor Melissa Lacewell Harris is a regularly featured commentator on that show and Maddow’s show, and so on, and so on, and so on…

Oh, my! And there’s yet another.
