Gordon Brown Is Fail

You couldn’t possibly screw up much more than this.

Gordon Brown’s election campaign was thrown into turmoil today after he was caught on mic calling a Labour supporter who had challenged him over the economy and immigration a “bigoted woman”.

Brown is a goner win or lose. As far as most polls are concerned, neither Labour nor the Conservatives appear to be headed for an outright majority. The Lib-Dems are even polling ahead of Labour in some national polls (but given the system they are destined to finish a distant third in terms of how many MPS they produce). Depending on the margins the Lib-Dems will be needed to form a government. Clegg has already said that they will talk to Labour but they won’t stand for Brown as PM. I’m pretty sure, in that case, Labour will toss him under the bus.

If the Conservatives are able to form a government, Brown will be gone as party leader shortly thereafter.

Like Anthony Eden, on paper Brown had all the qualifications and grooming to be a successful PM. But, also like Eden, he has been a failure.

A great glimpse into what the elected & priveledged class think of the typical tax paying citizen….Shut up, pay your taxes, and be grateful you filthy bigot. And don’t you dare ask why we are driving the country into a ditch or we’ll call you a racist too.

    Doesn’t Brown have a rep for being…difficult?

Brown screwed up but this is interesting, from the article linked:

At one point, Duffy mentioned the presence of eastern Europeans in Britain but did not develop her argument.

Yeah. They never really do develop that “argument” do they?

Well he’s Scottish… is that what you meant?

Brown has quite the temper. From the Guardian:
Gordon Brown’s abusive behaviour and volcanic eruptions of foul temper left Downing Street staff so frightened that he received an unprecedented reprimand from the head of the civil service, an explosive new book by the Observer’s Andrew Rawnsley reveals today.

Someone please call the RSPCA. Mr. Brown has not only screwed the pooch, he has battered it with an ax handle and devoured its beating heart.
