Rupert Murdoch Loses Money On UK Papers

Remember he’s a genius! And he’s going to close off his papers to Google and charge for them. Genius!

Losses at Times Newspapers Limited widened from £51.3m in the previous year, dragging Rupert Murdoch’s entire British newspaper empire to a £4.5m pre-tax loss.

Newscorp Investments, the holding company which owns The Sun, The News of the World, The Times, The Sunday Times, had made a £131.5m profit in the same period in 2008.
 
Revenue dropped to £1.35bn compared to £1.43bn in 2008.

    He could always sell off a few of the politicians he owns, but he had better hurry. The value on Republicans is dropping faster than David Vitter’s diaper in the presence of a hooker and a hundred dollar bill.

    No matter how much they cost, any of Murdoch’s publications are too expensive for toilet paper.

    I can’t wait for the numbers on his internet charging scheme; what a maroon.
