it was noted elsewhere that we should call this the “Drier procedure” so that prople will know the Republicans originated the procedure and used it many times during the Bush Admin whilst they were in the majority…

But ya know…Rules are always *meant* to be used against the opposition….they’re NEVER to be used fairly or impartially…..

    From the article:

“That strategy, then decried by the House Democrats who are now using it”

Have your talking points changed? Just this afternoon you were saying:

“I see your b.s. opinion, but not any actual democrats against using this procedure.”

    Or is he mistaken?

  7. Quaker in a Basement says:

Hard to say. He didn’t provide an example and he didn’t name names. I’m sure somebody, somewhere “decried” it at the time. Without more info, we’ll just have to take ol’ Norm’s word for it.

No s#%t! Hannity and one of his puppets on the radio today made it sound like dems had ripped the original constitution from it’s display archive and were burning it in the streets. Could someone please send him Ornstein’s article and a complimentary STFU!!

That’s not true. It originated in 1933.
