As Health Care Passage Nears, Cons Bringing The Crazy

Jon Chait notes that the right is getting increasingly unhinged as it seems quite possible that health care reform may actually pass. I’ve seen this in my e-mail inbox, where there is no shortage of right wing organizations and “news” outlets explaining to me that “Armageddon” is coming (actual Newsmax email subject line).

I mean, it’s possible they’re just concerned that Democrats are making such a mistake they may lose seats this fall. Right? Right.

Well put. It’s concern-trolling of the highest order. If passing HCR is such a “suicidal” thing for Dems to do you’d think they’d be happy to vote for it or, at the very least, stop shitting their diapers over the same parliamentary procedures they used (frequently) during the 90′s and naughts.

Whatever the GOP is against is good for America. Thing is, non-teabagger Americans know this now.

But it has to pass. Absolutely has to. Now the stakes are too high.

Fox News is hyping anti-reform protests this week. Their pants are beginning to brown.

A video segment on ‘Fox and Friends’ this morning illustrating the HCR had music like what was in the movie THE OMEN!!
