    Whether it’s true or not I wish Axelrod wouldn’t say shit like that. Better to go the Joe Paterno route: “Youngstown State has a terrific team. We’re gonna have to play a perfect game and have a few balls bounce our way to win.”

    I’m all about the lowered expectations game, but I don’t think it works in this context. I think congressional Dems need to feel the bandwagon effect in order to possibly tip them to a “yes”.

    Axelrod also said the bill would be “bipartisan by definition”, and that both health care and Cap n’ Trade would be done by last August.

    The current bill is basically that of Republican Mitt Romney. Unfortunately that’s as close to bipartisan as the unscrupulous anti-democratic, anti-life, hope-he-fails Waterloo Republicans on Capitol Hill will let us get.
