Adam Gadahn

According to AP. Apparently he’s under arrest by the Pakistanis. The hits just keep on coming now. It’s like the commander in chief is focused on fighting terrorism or something, and our allies know it.

Adam Gadahn background:

Adam Yahiye Gadahn (Arabic: آدم يحيى غدن‎, Ādam Yaḥyā Ghadan; born Adam Pearlman, September 1, 1978) is an American-born senior operative, cultural interpreter, spokesman and media advisor for the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.

Since 2004, he appeared in a number of videos produced by Al-Qaeda as “Azzam the American” (‘Azzām al-Amrīki, عزام الأمريكي, sometimes transcribed as Ezzam Al-Amerikee). He is believed to have inspired bin Laden’s September 2007 video.

In 2004, he was added to the FBI Seeking Information – War on Terrorism list. On October 11, 2006 he was removed from that list, and placed on the Bureau of Diplomatic Security Rewards for Justice Program list of wanted criminals. On the same day, Gadahn was indicted based on the testimony of the FBI case agent E.J. Hilbert II, in the Southern Division of the United States District Court for the Central District of California by a federal grand jury for the capital crime of treason for aiding an enemy of the United States (i.e. Al-Qaeda). Gadahn is the first American charged with treason since Tomoya Kawakita in 1952.

This is a very, very good thing.

It’s like the commander in chief is focused on fighting terrorism or something, and our allies know it.

It’s nice to have an administration that does that.

  5. timmy says:

But… isnt this administration supposed to be “uh-arab” and “pallin around with terrists” and islamo-kenyan-socialisticalifragilisticus and all that?

Real macho manly man administrations make the bad opponents out to be traitors and dhimmicrats while their own people make subcontractor bank and win freedom medals and all that.

Try him, sentence him, kill him.

  8. lacp says:

So the Pakistanis have arrested someone whose whereabouts they’ve probably known for several years, and it’s because the American president takes fighting terrorism seriously? That’s Obama fanboy on steroids, dude.

Again, being obtuse seems to be a common trait amongst your ilk. Try and keep up.

Bush never put the slightest pressure on Pakistan to capture Al Qaeda in their country. He kept shoveling billions (unaccounted for, btw) to them with no results and seemed fine with it. I personally feel that he enjoyed having Al Qaeda out there as the bogeyman he can always refer too to boost his standing, but that’s besides the point.

Now, Obama comes in. He demands action from our Pakistani “allies” or he’s pulling funds. He ramps up the drone attacks on Al Qaeda in Pakistan. He makes PUBLIC requests of Pakistan and basically calls them wrong-dealing to their faces.

All of a sudden, Pakistan is nabbing members of Al Qaeda left and right. Even someone as willfully ignorant as yourself can understand the different approach of the Obama Administration is the catalyst to all of this.

Why do I get the feeling that there is some sort of Islamic extremist comic book floating around Al-Qaeda camp barracks called “Azzam the American”?
