A Clue For AIM’s K. Daniel Glover

Writing on Hot Air about Politico’s recent re-hiring of Jonathan Allen after a brief stint working for Debbie Wasserman, Accuracy In Media’s K. Daniel Glover wrings his hands

Will Republicans ever answer a question from Allen without thinking twice about how he might use their answers? Will Democrats demand fluff because he is one of them? And what of Politico? Would John Harris, Jim VandeHei and company have given a second thought to rehiring a conservative under the same circumstances — or would they hire any openly conservative journalist, for that matter?

Except as Jamison Foser pointed out on Media Matters’ blog, Politico re-hired Jonathan Martin after he worked for Republicans for three years and didn’t post a multi-page mea culpa for it. They only felt the need to do this when re-hiring someone who had worked for Democrats.

The kicker, K. Daniel Glover is AIM’s “online communications strategist”. That’s the kind of person who should know how to use Google to find this sort of thing.

Then again, AIM is busy. They’re publishing things like – AND I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP – “The Gay Infiltration of the Conservative Movement“.
