    Geez…I’m a fanboy and former “Marvel Zombie” collector. But IMO, a mil for that book is just ridiculous. The guy only wants it just to say that he has a book that only about 99 others have. (And no indication that it was the near-mint “Mile High Copy”, which I think Steve Geppi owns or owned.)

    I’ll be impressed when somebody spends that kind of money for a “Not Brand Ecch” or “Inferior 5″.

    Of course that’s one of the few covers where Superman isn’t trying to kill someone or allowing a close friend to die!

    “The Dentist” owns the Church (Mile High) copy. The million dollar copy, while not as nice – is pretty sweet – and I imagine it didn’t matter much to the buyer how much he paid.
