It appears to me that this guy was seriously angry about his life, had issues with the IRS in the past, and was fed up. His references to GM, etc. seem to indicate a deep level of anger which I’m sure has been stoked by the ongoing barrage of negative messages around our politics.
Nice find.
Thank you very much for directing me straight to the website. I searched many and finally you gave me what I was looking for!

Great job!!! =^..^=~~
CNN just confirmed he wrote the note, I think, read some bits of it on air.
He mentions George W Bush and Capitalism unfavorably, therefore he is definatively a lunatic leftist.
Also he mentions Taxes and Government unfavorably, and is therefore definatively a right-wing teabagger.
Just wanted to throw these equally pointless squabbles out there so nobody else needs to waste our time considering this guy as anything other than tragically confused and frustrated instead of shoehorning him into a part of a larger narrative of Us-Good-Party vs They-Bad-Party.
I too think people ought to wait until something is truly produced by investigation. Or, rush out with breathless speculation. Whichever you prefer.
Thank you, Rx, for beating the nutjobs (all of them) to the punch. Well said.
The main IRS location in Austin, with hundreds of employees, is located in south Austin near Interstate 35. Interesting that he chose an office building in northwest Austin which is home to many businesses and has only a handful of IRS employees.
Sometimes, a violent nut is just a violent nut.
well said
Rex: Sorry, but regardless of the man’s political affiliation, there’s only one possible source that can cloud a person’s mind in this nation to the point they think there’s no freedom and they have to take it “to the man”.
Who is the ONLY group teaching us to fear our government? The only propaganda heard on a daily basis that it’s THEM vs. US?
This is 100% directly the fault of the right-wing propagandists and talking heads who are the greatest traitors this nation has ever known: Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Coulter, Malkin, Levin, etc.
They have a right to free speech. They do not have a right to disseminate the propaganda they do- and they do NOT have a right to a microphone.
On 9/11, terrorists killed 3,000.
If the right-wing kills health care reform due to the hate-speech of these same people, the Conservatives in our nation will be killing 18,000 Americans every year, making those people mentioned six times worse of a threat than any terrorist.
You can read his manifesto on smoking gun. He ends it with the communist credo “from each according to his ability and to each according to his needs” and then follows up with a satirical capitalistic credo that states “from each according to their gullibility and to each according to their greed.” This may suggest a left wing lean in his motives.

Time for another “we need racial profiling” segment on Fox and Friends
Uh oh… I know a guy who worked in the Austin IRS office from when I lived there while I was going to grad school… I’ll have to try to find out if he’s OK this evening…
The same web site has his client list. I find it interesting that the list includes a lot of huge gov. contracts/military contracts.
Given the political leanings of the site owner and visitors here, I’m going to go out on a limb and say our progressive host here grabbed that manifesto with the intent of finding just enough right-wing talking points to give us a nice, big diatribe on the hateful, racist, dangerous right-wingers and “tea baggers” (to use your leftist, infantile mislabeling of the Tea Party). Ah, pablum for the converted in the echo chamber. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be found, so he dismisses the manifesto as just a “long rambling rant.” ‘Fraid not, my friend.
I would not ascribe actions like this to mere political leanings, whether right or left. Some psychological maladjustment that allows this person to justify these type of actions is a likely cause, not nominally some political position.
However, this dude was an obvious leftist. He singles out the health care system and organized religion for particular scorn — positions primarily unique to the left. He reaches back to a former Republican president, GWB, who does not and never will in the future have any power over him, to complain. His coup de gras is a disparaging comparison of capitalism to socialism (from your leftist perspective, at least).
The taxes/government “coming down on you” bit is just populism, it’s not right or left. See, Pat Buchanan/Ron Paul on the right and Huffington (theoretically)/Kucinich on the left.
So, own him leftists, he is yours. Throw him in the bucket with your Univ. Alabama professor. But, as I said previously, I don’t attribute their actions to their “progressive” natures.
Rex, his client list includes a lot of companies connected to war contracts and gov. contracts. I wouldn’t assume that because he was disgruntled with G. Bush that he was a crazy lefty. A lot of people in Texas business and military business are upset with G. Bush.
This is 100% directly the fault of the right-wing propagandists and talking heads who are the greatest traitors this nation has ever known: Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Coulter, Malkin, Levin, etc.
No, it is not.
I agree that those people are fundamentally wrong and behave, at times, despicably, and that certain actions can, through a certain light, be viewed as their responsability to different extents, though this is not a debate that should be engaged in here.
What is clear from everything so far is that this man’s issues with the IRS have gone on for some time and that he is severely emotionally disturbed. There is nothing available at the moment that suggests, even slightly, that he did this at some implied behest from any of your listed “traitors,” and for you to claim as much is irresponsible and unsupportable by the facts.
Wow. Not just as a pointless comment here, but as a reply to me pointing out how worthless it is to attribute political leanings.
Hey, also he uses the Arial font, so tell us what that tells us about his pizza-topping preferences.
joe stacks letter was a rant but it was not rambling it made good sense. his beef was about the irs’s unfair taxation of contract workers. joe slack a modern day nathan hale.
If you’re willing to kill yourself by flying a plane into a building with the intention to ‘get even’ then you are a fucking psycho, plain and simple, and that knows no political affiliation.
I would not ascribe actions like this to mere political leanings, whether right or left…
However, this dude was an obvious leftist…
So, own him leftists, he is yours… But, as I said previously, I don’t attribute their actions to their “progressive” natures.
Okay, so now here’s the part where you tell everybody what sonofabitching good it does Anybody to label him a ‘leftist’ when, by your own acknowledgement, what he did has nothing to do with his political leanings. I mean, you know, that or you’ve self-evidently made a massive fucksticking tool of yourself because you need to shape a tragedy into something that will make you feel better about an unrelated opinion because you’re a perambulatory parcel of piss.
When Abdul does this, it’s a terrorist attack. When Mr. Joe Stack does this , he’s just a tragic figure. Blow me with your double standards white America.
Shorter Brett:
The parts of this guy’s rant that align with my political views are irrelevant.
The parts of this guy’s rant that align with your political views make him all 100 % your fault. No backsies!
ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS GUY LOOKS LIKE?
I think it is relevant though if the media and propaganda has had an effect on his instability. We live in austin and will soon be learning his real political views… but I have a feeling he was a liberal. He either is or he isnt Im sure we will find out. The problem I have is the bush association. It really makes no sense if he is targeting only government it would then naturally be the president that is current. But he didnt say Obama. I was really taken back this last election at how the media portrayed our nation as so pitiful, you have states like california who have spent themselves into oblivion and he was disgruntled. I dont think the media helped him any and like before the holocaust if you put things infront of people enough they will react. Some will react like this. Truth is we are a fortunate nation where are homeless are better off then most of the upper class in other countries. We need to start seeing things correctly
After reading his so called manifesto this is what I gathered. 1. He tried early in his life to cheat the american people out of his taxes, by forming some type of so called religous organazation to keep from paying taxes. (Social Security, Medicare. and I would probably assume Housing benifits.) He was audited and as such was told the group was not recognized as a religous organazation and as such was penalized and had to pay all money back to the goverment. He then goes on later in life to try to figure out other ways to screw the American people out of taxes but as same as his first try was shot down. 2. He finds it hard to either compete in Ca or maybe he couldnt find a job there because of tough times, he blames everyone else for his problems and the goverment is out to get him. 3. He then lives off his retirment fund (IRA) which I bet you anything he took the tax credit for all the money he put into it. And because he didnt work for that year figured he did not have to pay taxes on the money he took out of his retirement fund. Again tring to cheat the American people out of tax money. 4. Then his so called final straw was this. He failed to report unreported income. (which I can only assume was self emplyment income) Again this is called someoneelse fault. He tries to pass himself off as a very smart man who has been victimized by everyone around him and claims fault for nothing he himself has done.
My opnion is this guy suffered from paranioa and felt everyone owed him something, Don’t get me wrong I feel sorry for whatever situations that caused him to think he had no recourse. I think he just doesnt feel like anything was his fault.
They come from other states to Texas because of the easy way of living, affordable real estate, no state income tax and many other quality of life reasons. They come from California, Pennsylvania, Utah and all over: David Koresh from California to Waco to establish Mount Carmel; the Latter Day Saints to build a temple in West Texas; Malik Nadal Hasan to Ft. Hood, Texas to follow his military career; and now Mr. Stacks from Pennsylvania to Austin, Texas. The living is simple and easy and opportunities are vast, and so they come. Native Texans have a genuine love for one another and truly show compassion and support for fellow citizens. These are not native Texans committing these acts but instead troubled people with agendas that were developed at some point along their journey. Also please note that there are rights and lefts in other states who come to Texas to live the American and Texan dream. There’s a classic bumper sticker that reads, “I’m not a native Texan but I got here as fast as I could!” Thoughts and prayers to all you in Austin who are affected by this terrible incident.
j. sams: Nathan Hale suicide murdered innocent bystanders because he hated tax laws?
Between Sams, Brett, Jaym, and Stu, we may have broken some sort of record for poser parody posts in this thread.
Are any of them real?
All fun, but have to give extra credit to Stu for trolling the post predicting the trolls; classic!
Nice try, but too late.
The media has already saddled up the “tea party” meme and are getting ready to ride it on out of the stable.
SECURITY!!!
Just wish these people would take themselves out without harming others.
Why don’t you guys actually read his letter before criticizing him?
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2010/0218102stack1.html
Everyone in the whole U.S. mostly started somewhere and then moved somewhere else. I lived in Texas a while and it is hardly a dream. It is a hickville nightmare and i couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to move there who really knew what it was like. I couldn’t leave fast enough. Most of Texas probably moved there from one place or another at one time or another. It’s just like any other state, people come and people go. Texas is nothing special despite what sheltered Texans think.
Left, right, tea, who cares? What kind of sick bag of squirrel scat leaves a wife and child behind with no home (will his insurance cover his act of arson?) and flies the Crazymoplane into an office building, ensuring that he leaves no life insurance benefit behind. Who did he hate more, the IRS or his family? Either way, stupid is as stupid does.
You said “Native Texans have a genuine love for one another and truly show compassion and support for fellow citizens.”
Here is how much Texans love each other,

I think I will go there again some day……Doesn’t this sound like a dream come true people?
Joe Stack was a Reagan republican. Sorry nazis, he’s one of you, he’s a right winger.
Fuck that piece of shit terrorist. You don’t get to fly your plane that you personally own into a federal building, and identify yourself as one of the have-nots. Nope. No sympathy for the guy, and certainly no identification with his weepy, woe-is-me story.
Joe Stack was just another disgruntled kook republican tea bagger. What made him any different from another republican kook named Tim McVeigh ?
People like you are a joke. You’re the reason why America, a once great nation, is now nothing but a leftist/right-wing laughing stock of the whole world and riddled with political cancer. Everyone you don’t like or anyone who you don’t agree with or someone who says something that doesn’t fit into your paradigm of brainwashed, politico whitewash….you automatically call them a right-wing or leftist nutjob or lunatic. You are nothing more than a clone of a clone of a clone of the same old tired crap I hear day after day on news shows like MSNBC and the like. I used to enjoy the news but since 911 it has been nothing but the same old microwaved leftovers and most of the time they even use the same sentences to describe a situation….kind of like you did there with that whole leftist lunatic statement. You sund like a real government suck up. When you describe someone you don’t know and just maybe read bits and pieces of the material and hear bits and pieces on CNN of all stations, maybe you should read the manifesto above in the link provided before just blowing this guy off as a nut. It sounds to me like this was a frustrated guy hounded by the IRS until he could take no more and recognized what most of the U.S. has seen lately (except you) that we are all being screwed royally. I don’t condone his actions but before you judge someone so harshly, take your lips off of the governments butt for a minute and get to know some real working people, not just your brothers in the media and government. They know nothing anyway, that it why our country is in the shape it is in. It is being run by monkey’s in suits who have only the brains the government has issued them. But when it comes to what a real country is like, and the real people in it, There couldn’t be a more stupid people than those who work for the government. Oh yeah, and for anyone on here who is on the news that I spoke of……you do NOT speak for us American’s and your polls are falsified and manipulated and most things you say are the exact opposite of what American’s really want. How do I know? Because I live amongst them and get the real feed. It’s easy to say anything you want while on the news and only one side of the story is being heard. Hey look, I must be a lsftist nut too, I don’t agree with this guy everybody. Hey guess what? I am guessing the guy who wrote this article is in disagreement with what i have said here……that would make HIM a leftist nutjob. Either he’s a leftist lunatic or we both agree that he is a boring, bow tie wearing political type who does nothing but sit around like the women on “The View” and cackle politics like a hen with other like-minded sleeping pills who agree with each other all day long.
Are you so heavily deluded that you would think there is ANY reason someone
should fly a play into a building to kill innocent people.? I don’t care if he had a
vision that flew out his ass about his taxes. He was a sick man and indeed–a terrorist.
That is all.
Modern day Nathan Hale? Jeezus!
If Nathan Hale rode his horse and tried to kill innocent people with it while they were
working their farms or milking their cows— I never heard about it.
Exactly, Burn. How is burning his own home in any way an anti-government statement? I thought the anti-tax types were all about the sanctity of private property. Garden-variety nut-job; except with a pilot’s license.
Because he killed people?
His “letter” was a rant; it was not rambling. His act of crashing a plane into an IRS building was criminal; it might or might not have been rational. Some say suicide by definition is not rational. That is obviously not always true. If you disagree, you have no real understanding of: history, politics, economics, psychology, or religion.
Fools who twist every story into a pretzel to fit their preconceived notions and their own agendas, to make traps for other fools, will never learn anything worth knowing about the world they live in or how it works, except how to manipulate others. You fools who resort to the laughable, brain-dead “left”/”right” descriptors are at the head of the line of such manipulative “pragmatic” fools.
Ask more questions every time something like this happens, and make fewer ASSUMPTIONS. People show more interest in why serial killers, mass murderers, and school and workplace shooters do what they do and what should be done in response than people are showing in response to this story. The most typical common thread in the lives of people who do such things is a past history of serious abuse.
Yet, when an attack on the Government occurs, people check their brains at the door. For the terminally stupid who will accuse me of sympathizing with the act of this man, or of caring one whit whether he leaned “left” or “right”, there is no hope for you.
There are nutjobs on the left and right. Who knows what flavor this notjob was. It’s just a shame that he didn’t get help. He probably killed a couple of people in that building.
The one thing we DO know about the guy, regardless of his political leanings, although virulently anti-tax unto death suggests teabagger rather than liberalism to me, is that he was a TERRORIST.
Like that other “T-word,” TORTURE, people seem to have a hard time using the proper word for the act.
…say there, Captain Sanity-pants, did you actually read my post before tearing into me for trying to label this guy as being left-wing? I mean… did you miss the part where I also label him as right-wing? As well as the part where I point out how fuckmothering pointless it is to label this lunatic as being of one party or another?
Facepalm. Emphatically.
First of all You should study history a small bit before opening your mouth, The nazis where “national socialists” which would put them on your side of the line not the repubs. Secondly he was not a “Reagon Republican” any more then you could call obama a moderate. A R Repub would not you a line from the Communist manifesto as a positive and then slap capitalism.
The early progressives loved the fascist german party, and the “modern” progressives/populists (at least in their elites) still do to this day.
Wow Rex! I feel kinda sorry for Bobby–’cause that was REALLLL embarrassing.
I’ll tell you how to identify this guy’s ideology: If you lefties could successfully stick him with a “right winger” label, you’d be shouting it from the rooftops.
The fact that you are backstepping from the liberal label, or going the “there’s no label for this guy” route, means… Yep, he’s a leftie, all right!
No “torture”, eh?
How about no “Muslims” and no “Islamic terrorists”?
Hey Bobby…here let me help you down off that soap box. There you go. Now listen for a sec…
I think aside from a few comments here, its pretty obvious that most everyone is like me and formed their opinion of this guy after reading that he FLEW A FUCKING PLANE INTO A FUCKING BUILDING TRYING TO KILL PEOPLE IN THE PROCESS!!! I don’t care where he falls on the political spectrum…I don’t care how pissed off he is at whatever he’s pissed off at.
um he was a disillusioned right winger, he really thought they were serious when he heard that the reagancamp was going to lower taxes on the little guy, small business doesn’t need overt control etc.ad nau.which reminds me of a little chestnut
a neo-liberal is a conservative who has just been thrown in jail.
a neo-conservative is a liberal who has just been mugged.
left or right, he gives a face to the gimmie gimmie attitude of a certain cross section of this country that believe all the hype from either side and are angry that the exclusionists aren’t including them in the orgy of greed and elitism, screaming that the other guy’s free lunch is making their free lunch harder to enjoy. his whining about spending 5k to pester lawmakers about his silly tax status is laughable. hell i didn’t even MAKE 5K in 1987 and he called it pocket change, and BTW i didn’t live on crackers and peanut butter at that time either. he’s had a teabagger mentality, who woke up and smelled the bullshit, and it left him a little askew (insert lewis black hand gesture). i add him to SNL’s Dangerous but Inept Hall of Shame. just an aside, if you see the “little guy”, he’s on the bus bench beside you, if you see the guy checking his flight plan, you can bet he’s if he’s living on crackers and peanut butter he’s doing it by the grace of freedom of choice this country gives you and enjoying it. if he isn’t, he’s an ungrateful bag of whiney crap. ruby ridge was an atrocity by our government, this is a temper tantrum throwing gimmie gimmie baby boomer psycho who was tired of not being recognized as the exceptional winner that he most certainly thought he was.
You’re just a tool of those pesky small-government statists.
Logic fail.
No “torture”, eh?
How about no “Muslims” and no “Islamic terrorists”?
What the fuck are you talking about?
The fact that you are backstepping from the liberal label, or going the “there’s no label for this guy” route, means… Yep, he’s a leftie, all right!
You’re a disgusting piece of shit, Frank. I only wish there was a Hell for you to go to when you die.
No “torture”, eh?
Correct. We know it took place, but for some reason the “liberal” press has a hard time using the appropriate word, using instead the lying euphemism, “enhanced interrogation.” Why do you suppose that is?
Why do you suppose the “liberal” press is having a hard time identifying this guy as a terrorist? Don’t you agree that people who deliberately fly planes into buildings are terrorists?
Don’t you agree that people who deliberately fly planes into buildings are terrorists?
Nope. That is not how I define a terrorist or an act of terrorism.
What he did was a melodramatic suicide.
People not wanting to turn a tragedy into political fodder means that you’re entitled to, Frank? Asking what good it does anybody to call this viciously insane act a political action is evidence that everyone doesn’t want to admit he’s one of their own, so lets get into it like this because hey, why not.
His family’s lives are ruined, people could have been killed, but hey, thats all cool since it gives Scott Brown a talking point to promote himself. Gives the CPAC speakers a joke to introduce Grover Norquist on. Awesome.
But, of course, someone asking that we try and treat this as the isolated action of a single madman that it clearly is to any sane mind? PROOOVINGS THAT HE AMS THE LIE-BURRRRRRRALZORZ!
Choke, yet again, on your mothers cock, Frank.
You’re an idiot.
Per the FBI:
“Terrorism – The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a Government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.” (28 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 0.85)
Now, reading what I have done of his “manifesto” it seems he is, while taking out his aggression on the IRS, persuade others to follow his lead and intimidate the IRS into action percumbent upon the threat of those who would attempt something like this. Violence in the name of coercion to further a socio-political objective.
But then I’m clearly fucking stupid, and stand in awe of the massive penis your brain has. Melodramatic suicide it is. Say, you know I heard of this other time a group of people flew planes into a pair of skyscrapers just because they were sexually frustrated and their religion made them upset. So good to know that wasn’t an act of terrorism, otherwise I’d have been worried.
You may want to study political science and non-revisionist history. Having socialist in the name of your party does not mean it is a socialist party. The Nazi state was fascist, which is the polar opposite of socialism. Where socialism is typically ascribed to the far left, fascism is considered to be part of the extremely authoritarian far right. While socialism and communism are not the same thing, both appear on the left end of the political spectrum, with communism further left than socialism. One of the Nazis primary targets of hatred, besides the Jews, were the communists, whom they began sending to concentration camps almost immediately after their ascension to power, years before the Final Solution had even been decided upon. To equate either side of popular American politics with the Nazis is ridiculous.
what does the holocaust have to do with anything??????
Does Frank ever get tired of getting pwned on this site? My guess is no, so keep at it Rex.
. . . .which could have been achieved by crashing his plane into the Gulf. Alone. Dramatic.
Let’s call this terrorism. And why don’t we just rename Joe—ummm, Abdul and let him leave the same
whining rants about how he’s been screwed by the government.
Can we call it terrorism now, Frank?
Rex, I am just tickled pink that you think it’s terrorism…
But you are neither employed by, nor are you are in any position to represent the FBI, or to interpret their policies.
So, no, it was not a terrorist act in my book – my being as capable as anyone of reading a paragraph – nor do I think he should be called Abdul (Leota3 has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?), and I do not feel either overpowered, pwned, pawned, owned, or overwhelmed.
From the Human Security Act:
Rex: You say poh-tay-toe, I say get your head out of your ass.
Destroying a Federal building isn’t terrorism?
What was Timothy McVeigh doing, peacefully protesting?
You guys are sick.
Per Frank, clearly McVeigh was throwing a ‘melodramatic’ hissyfit.
I have to work for the FBI to quote their definition of Terrorism? Okay, sure, I’ll play along.
So Frank, are you a citizen of the Philippines?
No?
Well then, I simply have to ask, in the name of naught but the most cursory inquiry, WHAT THE SHITFUCK ARE YOU DOING QUOTING PHILIPPINE LAW?!!??!
GRRRAAAGAGGGAGGGHHHHHHH!!!1!!11!!!!oneoneoneoneoneoneone!
…ahem.
You may have failed to notice, Frank, but Austin, Texas is not, in fact, located on any of the Philippine islands. Texas is, in fact, part of America! How about that?! Hey, know what else is located in America? The FBI as it turns out.
Now, with no disrespect meant to the Philippines, guess which of these two I prefer to have defining domestic terrorism.
Go on.
Guess.
I’ll wait.
Also, keep choking on your mother’s cock. Can you do that for me? Thanks, you’re a sweetie.
Honestly, this thread is some of the most entertaining, hilarious, yet absolutely horrible and insane stuff I have read in a while. Thanks, Frank, you dingbat.
Oh Frank. I’d feel sorry for you if you weren’t so . . . Oh hell, why should I lie. There’s
no effing reason I’d ever feel sorry for you.
Absolutely spot on analysis. So True, So Sad.
Actions like this are totally rightwing. Tim McVeigh, Eric Rudolph, and even the 911 terrorists (al qaida – taliban).
To paraphrase a rapper, “that’s just what (rightwing) nuts do”.
Yes, there have been violent leftists in this country over the last 5o yrs, but you can count the number of people killed by Weathermen and others like them on two hands.
So if the name of the state dosn’t matter, just what they do/want to do does, then wouldn’t that make the obama/liberal/progressive/populist movment in America socialist?
Some similarities between the progressives and nazies.
Gun control, euthanasia, abortion, hating the “Rich”, speech control, thought control, and eugenics.
Thoughs are not “revisionist history” the “right” doesnt have to stoop to that tactic, though the progressives use it as a major tool.
If the nazies hated communism why did the party heads support the communist movement in germany before the nazies took power?
And as I said in the first one, it is the elitists in the progressive party who are like the nazies not the average person who has been dooped into believing what the elitists say.
fascism is considered to be part of the extremely authoritarian far right.” One question about that, where do you get the idea that the far right is authoritarian? or do you believe that a set societal moral code is a bad thing?
That is all for now from a far right waco Heathen.
Rex,you are too disgusting to even address. Keep making remarks about my mother’s cock. And the rest of you, don’t criticize him for it. It makes you all look so classy and sophisticated.
You’re all a bunch of lightweight pseudo-intellectuals that think with your limbic region, which is why the name calling and personal insults always , always , always begin on the Left. Where else could it begin? You guys aren’t even capable of original thought, which is why you supported a man for President whose agenda goes back to the 1840′s, which has been shown not to work, wherever it has been tried.
Wanna see some American definitions of Terrorism, you uneducated, illiterate buffoons?
Check this out :
I wonder if any of you ever thinks, “I’m not really as smart as I pretend I am when I post in Oliver’s blog?”, or are you all PERPETUALLY full of shit?
Rex,you are too disgusting to even address.
So… why did you? I mean I’d be happy if you didn’t, you realize, and its no skin off my nose when you do, so… what is this?
Keep making remarks about my mother’s cock.
Sure thing, skip.
And the rest of you, don’t criticize him for it. It makes you all look so classy and sophisticated.
Says Mistress Manners over here. We should all aspire to be as evolved and erudite as the Right Honorable Frank, I say I say, who would never so debase himself with the use of coarse insults, least of all in the NEXT FUCKING SENTENCE.
You’re all a bunch of lightweight pseudo-intellectuals that think with your limbic region, which is why the name calling and personal insults always , always , always begin on the Left.
Frank, it seriously seems to me that, by the time you were writing the end of this sentence where you’re attacking the left for personal insults, that you actually began this sentence with personal insults. Does your ability to retain and process information actually peter out at the ten-word mark or something, or is this some kind of meta-irony that I’m just incapable of comprehending?
Where else could it begin?
Gee, I dunno, Frank, lets backtrack. I, early on, make the point that this event, tragic in and of itself, does not need to devolve into petty political bullshit squabbles. You then attack me and everyone else saying so, because goldurnit, he’s clearly a socialist lefticrat and we’re covering for him.
Well shucks, perfesser, where do YOU think it began?
Wanna see some American definitions of Terrorism, you uneducated, illiterate buffoons?
Sure, lets just pretend the whole Philippine thing never happened. And by all means quote back to me the FBI definition (need I remind you that, since you are not an employee of the FBI, you are not, apparently, entitled to quote their definition?) that I quoted to you.
Also, if you could, please focus and italicise the segments that focus on coercion and influence, which is exactly what I went on to detail why I felt his act could be seen as an act of terrorism. You know, proving my point and all? Considering to his deranged mind his intent seemed to be to cause others to potentially rise up against the IRS in similar violent fashion? Yeah, hey, thanks, really appreciate it. You’re a mensch.
I wonder if any of you ever thinks, “I’m not really as smart as I pretend I am when I post in Oliver’s blog?”, or are you all PERPETUALLY full of shit?
…I cannot even begin to comment.
Also… Frank, let us not pretend that this thread would be proceeding all peaceful and shit if I had never mentioned the penis that your mother has, nor my request that you lodge it permanently in your trachea.
This should wake up those people around the world who are still under the impression that terrorism is inflicted by ONLY talibans or al-queda. The government should be focusing their attention uniformly.
You said “I lived in Texas a while and it is hardly a dream. It is a hickville nightmare and i couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to move there who really knew what it was like. I couldn’t leave fast enough.”
Well you probably never lived in Austin. It’s VERY different than the rest of Texas. Sure the rest of the state is just like any other state. I lived most of my life in California and I left because of its sky high cost of living, sky high state income tax, California is now bankrupt and has one of the highest foreclosure and unemployment rates in the nation. I couldn’t leave fast enough! At any rate here’s a good reason why people are moving to Austin and some other Texas cities:
