Incredible GOP pwnag3. The GOP is desperate to convince happy people that their happiness is an illusion, and that 40 years of a successful government health care program is not sufficient to show that it works.

Reality is sometimes tough to ignore, but these people have lots of practice.

Equally good was their other segment about GOP leaders worried that having the open and televised health care debate they’ve been demanding might be “a trap!” Yeah, I guess the hamster wheels in their brains finally got around to thinking, “Ya know, the President totally pwned us in our own house at our own meeting last week when he gave real answers to our bullshit agitprop talking points. How are we gonna look when we’re in a meeting where he might have some other people around who actually support him?!?”

To cover this possibility, John Boehner will today be sending an addendum to his list of demands and pre-conditions before any open meeting can take place…

Mr. President, we, the Senate Republican caucus, in the name of the bipartisanship and comity for which you have many times expressed hope, respectfully request that before any public televised debate on health care begin you solemnly pledge to alternately cross your eyes and say ‘Der!’, or pick your nose, after every other sentence you speak which is picked up on camera. Thank you.

  3. I know statistics make people’s heads hurt, but look at the CIA World Factbook. When it comes to simple basics like infant mortality and life expectancy, the U.S. is neck and neck with Croatia and other countries trying to come back from communist domination for decades. Socialist Western Europe and Japan kick our asses. It’s a national embarrassment.

Wasn’t the televised health care debate a Republican’t idea to begin with?
And now that Obama has called the pussies on it it’s now a “trap”? hahaha
I’m surprised Boner didn”t start crying.

The saddest part about this is the huge amount of people that actually believe that universal health care is Satan’s device and the ruination of us all.
The GOP isn’t ignorant of reality they are just a bunch of money grubbing sycophants that know how to exploit the fears of the masses to line their own pockets.
People have always embraced the ridiculous and the perverse as long as the ridiculous and perverse pretends to share their fears and values.

  8. [...] is a lone-start desperado type. Palin is a rouge. Apparently because she is as dumb as the average Republican voter.  President Obama is the ambassador of change we can believe in. This fact is vetted by his brown [...]

  9. Harvey says:

The universal health care plan would benefit the most number of people, but the Republicans seem to care more about profits for the Insurance companies and multi million dollar bonuses for Insurance Executives, they should be ashamed of themselves!

This was beautiful work Oliver. Thank you so much!

On top of the important public service information and knowledge this hopefully provides,(Who knew comedians were required to educate legislators about such policy!!???), you also provide great, great comedy.

Who doesn’t need to be able to laugh at the willful lunacy of these people?
