Those pussies will never do anything with it. Hell, before it’s all over, they will have let the Republicans make them look like the ones fighting against jobs.
I just don’t get the great fear that seems to exist regarding filibusters.
The Dems have “lost their filibuster proof majority” (a phrase trotted out so many times that it’s become meaningless white noise, as if it ever meant anything anyway) and so what? It’s not like they did anything with the 60 votes when they had them.
The Repubs threaten a filibuster. So what? Can someone explain what is so dreadful about having a filibuster actually happen that it’s mere mention sends folks shrieking in fright?
