How about them hogs?
Russ Grimm, a guard on the famed offensive line from the Redskins’ teams that went to four Super Bowls and won three in the 1980s and early ’90s, was elected to the Hall of Fame this afternoon in south Florida. Grimm joins Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Rickey Jackson, John Randle, Dick LeBeau and Floyd Little in the seven-member class of 2010.
From the Redskins’ championship teams, Grimm will join Coach Joe Gibbs, running back John Riggins, wide receiver Art Monk and cornerback Darrell Green in the Hall of Fame.

I was glad a Hog made it. But all 15 finalists were without a doubt worthy and should ALL be in. How can the leave Cris Carter and Shannon Sharpe out? And as a Bears fan, I’m HIGHLY offended that John Randle made it in before Richard Dent. They are both worthy, but Dent retired first and had a better career.
I’m glad Grimm is in, but I’m even happier that Floyd Little is in. This was a guy that played his heart and body out on a losing team (Denver, if you have forgotten) and still set records and was then dumped like a used Kleenex. Good on ya, Floyd.
I like him. This was a guy that played his heart.
