But he’s a good God-afearin white man. Only funny-talkin furriners can be terrorists. Silly Oliver.

  4. Dr. Psycho says:

I am glad that Scott Roeder will not be executed, that he will live to grow old in prison, see his cause gain no advances, and die a lonely and forgotten old man, knowing that it was all for nothing.

    I’m a vengeful son of a bitch, ain’t I?

  5. iota says:

The jury took thirty-seven minutes to convict, five to get organized, two to vote. What the hell were the other thirty minutes for? Lunch, maybe?

I’m a vengeful son of a bitch, ain’t I? Indeed, and you are to be praised, if not worshiped, for that reason.

  6. justadood says:

of course, your plan assumes he’ll be left alone by the general population of the prison….. depending on how he stands up for himself, he might end up a gang leader or somebody’s bitch.

    i’m hoping for the latter

  7. ajax says:

according to sarah palin, today’s verdict is a “travesty of justice” – she’s going more and more off the deep end with every comment!

    palin for president 2010

Bitch with distemper and mange 2010.

  9. Randy Brown says:

Dennis has already arranged for him to be protected by the local chapter of the Aryan Brotherhood.

  10. Dennis says:

Four years ago a significant portion of nutroots was pining for a John Edwards presidency as an antidote to the inevitability of a Hillary Clinton one. If Obama had trusted his original intuition and ignored Harry Reid’s exuberant and encouraging words about his skin tone and lack of Negro dialect, Edwards would very likely have been the nutroots darling come 2008. And now you’d be defending him. No matter how increasingly bizarre his story and life have gotten, you’d be denying all the allegations, as you know Edwards would be as well. This is the guy you lament for not becoming our VP in 2004. This is the example of how easily liberals are sucked in by phonies who tell them what they want to hear; the perfect example of their inability to truly judge character. Something every one of them think they are experts at.

It’s amazing. It’s like the obsession they have for Sarah Palin is their way of hiding their embarrassment for the VP and presidential candidate they once hailed and lauded as someone who truly cared for the less fortunate.

Don’t know if I’ve ever seen anything quite like it.

  11. The Dark Avenger says:

Try commenting on the subject at hand, Dennis, which is that a murdering son-of-a-bitch will probably die in prison after having a trial and being found guilty by his peers.

Aren’t you conservative types suppose to be rah-rah when justice prevails and evil loses again?

  12. AwkwardSilence says:

    Dennis:
That’s getting off-topic, fafaroo. That’s not what I’m about, as you know.

    And Dennis:

And it’s rarely about the point someone made, it’s always something ancillary that you think you can see a flaw or a point of disagreement that you might just decide to grab hold of for no other reason than the fact that arguing for you is an alternative to other compulsions far more damaging to you.

    (Emphasis mine)

vs. Dennis, above- piggybacking on a user’s comment specific to something Sarah Palin said about this ruling as a launching pad to take a swipe at John Edwards & Harry Reid, and then tsk-tsk liberals’ & Edwards’ hypothetical actions in a parallel universe.

Care to chastise me for going off topic to point this out, and hit the vaunted Hypocrisy Hat Trick?

  13. timmy says:

1 in 10 odds Dennis is having his kid fill in for him.
1 in 4 another blog got the post intended for this one.
1 in 3 Dennis is off the wagon again.

  14. Dennis says:

Saw the last two previous posts and thought I was on the Sarah Palin thread- my error, AwkwardSilence. I saw Randy Brown’s horribly misogynistic post that no one would ever rebuke over in the ‘Recent Comments’ box and clicked on it without looking up at the thread subject.

But no, I’m not rah-rahing anything about this murder or the inevitable conviction. It’s sad all around. And I don’t see anywhere that Sarah Palin said what ajax claimed she did. No one seems to think his claim is worthy of challenge, either; it’s just accepted as being true.

  15. Dennis says:

I’ll take all those odds if you’re good, timmy. Just tell me what your limits are and lets talk.

  16. Dennis says:

AwkwardSilence, I addressed you when I meant to be addressing Dark Avenger. I get you guys with the two-word comic book names mixed up for some reason.

As to all your tedious background work you did on me, here’s a clue for you. When I said that to fafaroo, it was an obvious bit of sarcasm that even someone with his limited cognitive abilities could easily recognize. When I do sarcasm on here its impossible to do it so that even people like you can recognize it. If I dumbed it down that much, it really wouldn’t be sarcasm anymore. I probably should just refrain from using it anymore- too confusing for some of the less fortunate souls who occasionally post here.

  17. AwkwardSilence says:

Tedious? Both of those excerpts where a few entries apart in the same thread that I happened to be reading. Because it was on the front page. And one was still freshly displayed in the “recent comments” section.

Yeah… that was real tedious research.

Also, indulge me– tell me how this:

You only come on here to argue with either me, Frank, or Farris. Solely for that reason and never to make a point about a thread. 100% of the time, with no exceptions. Ever. And it’s rarely about the point someone made, it’s always something ancillary that you think you can see a flaw or a point of disagreement that you might just decide to grab hold of for no other reason than the fact that arguing for you is an alternative to other compulsions far more damaging to you. And I’m all for that for you, I’m just tired of playing your games. Sorry.

… is ‘sarcastic’. Whiny and petulent? You betcha. Sarcastic…?

Eh, I do not think this word means what you think it does…

  18. Jaim says:

    Abortion is legal in America.

Why do Republicans opposed the rule of law in our country?

  19. Dennis says:

That wasn’t sarcasm there, AwkwardSilence. fafaroo knows that too. You see, I was talking to him, not you.
Fafaroo does have real problems that he won’t talk about with me. Since you seem to have a real interest in this though, why don’t you ask him about it sometime.

  20. Randy Brown says:

Because they believe in the rule of THEIR law, not THE law.

  21. Duros62 says:

What the hell are you talking about, Dense?

  22. ajax says:

sweems this dennis whack job dosen’t know where of what’s going on. two posts apologizing/saying he wasn’t/it wasn’t what he ment to say. crazy mf

everyone who kills, or tries to kill, and then wraps the flag and bible around themselves should go to prison just the same as anyone who takes, or tries to take, another human life for money. there’s no argument about it. it’s the law. you “conservatives” and tea bags (tea bagging is a gay sex act invented by john waters.) have no argument. absolutely zero.

re: sarah palin remark. it’s all over the internet. learn how to use google and you find it, dennis.

  23. Dennis says:

    No it’s not ajax.

Yesterdat I googled “Sarah Palin + Scott Roeder + travesty” and the only match I got was yours. Same thing today.

I’m not saying she said it or didn’t say it, but one thing is for sure, it’s not all over the internet.

I’m guessing you’re full of shit.

  24. ajax says:

    that’s wrong.

  25. Dennis says:

    Show a link, then, ajax.

    Put up or shut up.
