World War 2? I’m there. I understand this will basically be a companion to Band Of Brothers, of some sort.

That is awesome. I know the book Band of Brothers is often used in Officer Professional Development (OPD)in the Army. Professional leadership development is more important now than ever.

O/T, we have to be fair here and let the righties demand a number of liberals eat crow w/regard to Scott Ritter, who will not be a part of the public discourse any more.

You guys win one, sadly. F***ing douche.

HBO continues to have great shows – I’m looking forward to this one – and also this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treme_%28TV_series%29

If it’s as good as Band of Brothers, I’m up for it. Over-all though, I’m getting tired of all this WW2 shit. IT reeks of a nation in decline trying to relive our glory days, and in the end, it’s just getting old.

Thank God for HBO though, I doubt the rest of the cable channels would have started producing series if HBO hadn’t proved how successful it could be, and there’s very little on network television I can stand anymore.

What the fuck are you talking about? Are you somehow suggesting that this proves that there were WMDs in Iraq after all? What else could you possibly be suggesting?

  6. El Cid says:

God, I didn’t think anyone would miss the point. It’s that whether or not his points were right about Iraq, he will be publicly identified with this crime. Are you so thick you couldn’t grasp that?

  7. Dennis says:

You’re not pretending that liberals don’t do the same, are you Cidster?

And btw, I’m not seeing a whole lot of celebrating going on about this guy anywhere. All the talk today is about the disaster.

The one in Haiti; not Massachusettes.

Then why the fuck would anyone have to eat crow?
