Ah, that’s hilarious!
Well, that tells you something right there.
why is he a Democrat, anyway? he would make a pretty good Republican I think.
HF’s a better looking Bart Stupak
@merl: ask J.C Watts
He’s planning to unseat Gillebrand in NYS, I think. Not likely–she’s proven reasonably liberal on most issues and has a good PR machine. HF expresses centrist views on “Morning Joe” on a regular basis–not an untra rightie in any case. This whole thing smacks of a smear campaign, dragging up interviews from his unsuccessful attempt to hang onto his Tennessee congressional seat. He’s a weathervane at worst.
I’m not sure I’d call it a smear campaign. I have to think that if Ford really wants to make a go of it in a NY Dem primary he’s going to have to lose an awful lot of the centrism that marked his political career in Tennessee. If he does track left I think there is a legitimate question about his core beliefs. Getting what he said ‘then’ out in fron of NY dems is not a smear if he does in fact roll left as I think he will.
Truth be told I don’t much care for weathervanes in Congress. Too many of them already.
LOL,
Democrats have core beliefs?
