    …and the shoe bomber, and the anthrax mailings, and the DC sniper. None of these count in the wingnut mind. Or if they do, it was Clinton’s fault, or pre-emptively Obama’s, because the foreknowledge of America electing a neegro prezident encouraged our enemies retroactively thru time.

    I think the qualifier has finally become “While Bush was president, there were no terror attacks with a democrat as president. Under Obama, there have been eleventy bajillion.”

    At the risk of sounding like a broken record … the first attack on the WTC (Feb. 1993) and the 9/11 attacks were about 8-and-a-half years apart. So, by the Republicans’ own standard, Clinton had a better “record” than Bush.
