VINNY CERRATO RESIGNS, BRUCE ALLEN NEW REDSKINS GM
Tweet
The Washington Redskins began a monumental shakeup of their organization Thursday morning, first announcing the resignation of executive vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato and within hours replacing him with veteran NFL personnel executive Bruce Allen, who will immediately begin serving as the team’s general manager — the man in charge of assembling the roster and the coaching staff.

Bruce is a good pick
Will Bruce be doing the Friday radio show on the Snyder station now?
I hope for your sake that Bruce Allen doesn’t do for the ‘Skins what he did to the Bucs! I smell a Jon Gruden hire in the ‘Skins future. Where one goes the other will surely follow.
Freedom from what?
Allen is a return to the 1970s. Do we really want to see Washington turn into the Tampa Bay Buccs? There’s a pretty good reason why NFL teams weren’t banging on Bruce Allen’s door.
This is pretty typical DannyBoy Snyder; he screws things up–then he tries to return to the Skins of his youth.
This, too, will fail miserably.
Um, Dan Snyder still owns the team. I haven’t seen him selling the team. I haven’t seen him swearing to never be involved in football decisions again (as if I’d believe it anyway).
Sorry dude, but you’re screwed until that changes. Period.
