Anybody remember the pre-911 days of the Bush admin (when the economy was rolling along and we actually had a surplus)? Bush was saying we needed his tax cut to slow the economy down so it wouldn’t get out of control. THEN, after the economy started to tank after 911, Bush was saying we needed a tax cut to stimulate the economy. Does anyone else remember that? I dare someone to explain the logic behind this.
