Jr : the race thing has jumped the shark.
When push comes to shove, we’ll see wht the Chinese do, as opposed to what they have promised.
Pres Obama is turning out to be a lousy President, no matter what color he is.
Right, Frank. I mean, the way the economy is bouncing back, housing starts at their highest level in 13 months and everything. We would be so much better with John “I don’t know much about economics” McCain and Sarah “Cut & Run” Palin, right?
Well gosh, he obviously can’t hold a candle to you-know-who. In a time of crisis when planes are hitting buildings and everything he’s in a daze wondering “Hmm…what do I want for dinner? Steak or chicken?”
Pres Obama is turning out to be a lousy President, no matter what color he is. Just like I decided more than one year ago. And furthermore, I base this on absolutely nothing.
It’ll be interesting to watch the rhetoric evolve with the Chinese cutting their emissions. One of the arguments I hear all the time against cutting our own is ‘China and India won’t so why bother?’
BEIJING (Reuters) – A top Chinese climate envoy said Friday only emissions curbs carried out under its newly announced carbon intensity targets that have international financial support will be open to outside scrutiny.
Yu Qingtai, China’s climate change ambassador, added that most of the country’s emissions-curbing plans would likely not fall into the category of “measurable, reportable and verifiable.”
Beijing insists that rich, industrialized countries should continue bearing most of the burden in reducing greenhouse gases and that developing nations like China and India must not be subject to mandatory emission reduction targets in any new deal.
How Obama can’t manage to influence/suggest/bully China into doing the bidding of the US after Bush magnanimously borrowed billions from them, thus ensuring their enslavement to US interests until the end of time, is simply unfathomable.
The same can be said of Iraq and Afghanistan; after Bush spent so much time sowing good will and securing favors over there, how Obama isn’t capable of bankrolling all that altruism into more ‘victory’ is just hard to understand.
They’ll never admit he succeeded at anything. He can appoint Republican after Republican but they’ll never look past the fact he has a black father.
But…but…he bowed!

10.2%. Yeah, he’s a miracle worker, all right.

Farris, you have to stop it from going up before you can make it go down.

Fixed.
