Teabaggers Mock Family For Loss Of Unborn Grandchild

Nice political movement you’ve got going there.

The family, Dan and Midge Hough, of Chicago, spoke in favor of health care reform and in support of U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-3rd) at a Nov. 14 town hall meeting in Oak Lawn.

Their daughter-in-law, Jenny, and an unborn grandchild died recently due in part, they believe, to a lack of health insurance. They said Jenny was not receiving regular prenatal care and ended up in an emergency room with double pneumonia that developed into septic shock. Her baby died in the womb, and Jenny died a few weeks later, leaving behind a husband and a 2-year-old daughter.

Catherina Wojtowicz, of Chicago’s Mount Greenwood community, an organizer for a Tea Party splinter group, Chicago Tea Party Patriots, falsely claimed that the Houghs fabricated their story. In an e-mail, she called them operatives of President Barack Obama who ‘go from event to event and (cry) the same story.’

When the Houghs spoke at the Lipinski event, some Tea Partiers ridiculed them. They moaned and rolled their eyes and interrupted. Midge Hough began to cry.

As Glenn Beck says: they surround us.

Too bad this won’t make into Teabagger the Movie.

If the baby in question had been a white, ‘merican, gun-toting, freedom-loving, God-fearin’ infant and at least a second cousin to somebody named Schaivo . . . well then that’d been a whole different story.

How these cold-hearted idiots can’t even begin tell that what comes out of their mouths from one day to the next is blatantly hypocritical is truly a mystery. Okay, so their brains don’t work right and their emotional age is that of a damaged junior high kid, but that’s no excuse.

    Dennis? Frank? Farris? Rebuttal?

I guess they should change it up every once in while, for everyone’s amusement?

Not surprising at all. Balloon Juice had a post about this recently. In a nutshell, the teabaggers/birthers/gunnuts/Palinites are basically just assholes.

These are the people who thought it was cute to wear purple band-aids at the GOP convention in 2004. These are the people who screamed “Kill him” at Palin rallies. The same people who bring pictures of Obama with a Hitler mustache to their white power, I mean, teabagging parties. In short, stupid motherfuckers. So dumb they don’t even realize it.

The people who scream “I want my country back”.

Fuck em all, I am so glad they are dying off day by day.

No. Obvioulsy, you’re too immature to have nice things.

Depressing but hardly unexpected behavior from these monsters. They’ve spent all their time on this believing that every statement in opposition to their opinion must, by virtue of it disagreeing with the opinion Glenn Beck tells them to have, be not simply wrong, but part of an effort to consciously deceive them.

All the studys on how much money it saves? Must be Lies, since we’re all about saving taxpayers money.
All the surveys that place U.S. healthcare at, say, 36th worldwide? Must be lies because we’re all about preserving our status as best healthcare system in the infinite, eternal universe.
Ergo, all the stories about people suffering financially due to being unable to receive care, or else receiving poor or lax care due to insurance industry mandates? Well, since we’re all about saving money and quality care, all the stories must be lies. All the people telling these stories of their personal family horrors? Liars. Horrible, Stupid, Filthy, Gay, Anti-Catholic-Bigoted, Muslim, Communist Liars.

There are literally no words in the English language which fully describe how much I hate these teabagging loons. “Despise utterly” barely begins to cover it.

  13. Rebuttal? You mean, did it happen?
    Yes, I believe it happened.
Was it terribly rude and cold hearted?
    Yes, it was.
Is there a connection between the death of one person, and imposing universal health care on a whole nation?
    Why was she speaking there?
To change their opinions, by eliciting sympathy. Maybe some people are sick of it. So they acted badly. I am so sorry that right wingers were behaving badly and being impolite to representatives of left wing causes.
Because I know that liberals have never said or done anything rude or ill-mannered, in relation to representatives of right wing ideas.
So, yes, I denounce that “person from the splinter group of the Tea Baggers” who, thereby, represents all Republicans world wide. I hereby apologize for her “horrific” behavior, and the horrific behavior of all right wing tea bag party splinter group members everywhere.
I await a similar apology from the ultraleft wing splinter groups of the liberal democrats of America , starting with the rabid, malicious Burn.

These ‘people’ are vile and disgusting! I am not surprised by their behavior though. These vermin have no concept of free speech and deliberately disrupt meetings denying decent sane citizens their right to express their views. Fortunately most of them look to old to reproduce. Sometimes I think I am living in a nation of morons and these people only confirm what I have thought.
