    You can’t expect to indoctrinate the next generation of Right wing, Christian zealots to annoint the likes of Sarah Palin as their savior if you fill their gullible little heads with anything as insignificant and obviously anti-American as facts.

    I thought this was well established?

    No, it means we have to fight the stupid twice as hard. I refuse to give up reason and science to a bunch of disingenuous fools, just because they can yell really loudly.

    The Christian religious right and the “conservatives” in general are trying to make the kids easy to direct and use – basically as a servile population and willing soldiers. The “other side” is doing exactly the same thing over in the oil-rich countries. These people are still fighting the Crusades!

    We all need to teach the kids as much as possible, and to lobby to raise the budget for public education.
