I’m sure that a girl who looks like she is barely out of high school was the smartest person at that event. I am sure the interviewer was looking for a college professor to test the mettle of the Palin supporters, but picked her because she had charisma.

If her favorable ratings managed to come out of their nose dive since 10-2008 and actually go up, and her unfavorable ratings come out of the stratosphere and drop below 50% at some point close in time to 2012, you might have a point, Frank LaSalle.

You got to admit though, it seems like a good strategy. There are many more ignorant people then there are intelligent. There have been many photos of political leaders, including presidents, in shorts. Including Obama, Bush and Clinton. Although, they were all actively engaged in an activity where shorts were sensible attire, like actually running rather than simply posing in running-wear.
