Blind Side: Already A Hit?
Those commercials for The Blind Side (great book by the way, and I want to see the movie) say that the movie is “already a hit”. The movie hasn’t been released yet. Not even in previews, as far as I can tell, has it earned a single dollar yet. I know these ads aren’t subject to much scrutiny, but they don’t even use wiggle language to say it’s a hit with critics. They just say it’s a hit.
Which isn’t true.

It is a great book, but as much for the pure football geekery as the compelling story. The film looks like it’s going to leave the geekery behind, and tell it as a “Dangerous Minds” type of story, with Sandra Bullock as the Nice White Lady.
