Carrie Prejean’s Reluctant 15 Minutes Enters Its 7th Month

Prejean keeps talking, talking about her book, talking about that Miss USA question, talking about her sex tape.

But she’s very reluctant.

Eh, at least she’s pretty.

  1. Chest looks like crap. Eh, I guess that’s what happens when you stuff plastic inside them.

  2. Jaim says:

Does the fact that it’s a masturbation tape as opposed to a sex tape make fundies OK with it? Or that she filmed it before she was 18 years old?

The right sure knows how to pick leaders and role models!

  3. Infidel753 says:

Everybody knows we’re just marking time on this topic until someone gets hold of that sex tape and puts it out on the internet. If she’s smart she’ll do it herself and get it over with.

  4. Enlightened Liberal says:

No Jaim, she claims to be one of them. She could do a gang bang tape and it would be alright with them. Double points if she “repents” and says it was a liberal conspiracy that made her do it.

  5. Dennis says:

Shorter libs: Oh crap, another conservative with a top 5 bestseller.

    • Wilbur says:

Yes, but how many of those were returned when the buyers figured out there wasn’t a centerfold?

    • Marco says:

Shorter Dennis: Hey, look over here, libs.

      • Dennis says:

Are you of the opinion that her book is not one of the subjects of the blog post, Marco?

        Idiot.

        • Indeed says:

          Quick, who said:

Nice touch by Capra casting Mr. Potter in a wheelchair in a lame attempt to make him appear even more evil and scary. As if stealing $8,000 and trying to run the only bank competition in the town wasn’t evil enough, he had to make him a cripple, too.

“Sorry about the derogatory stereotype, all you handicapped people. ‘Hey it’s just a movie’. And he was a conservative, too, so what’s the big deal?”

          Was it an idiot?

        • Marco says:

Oh, Dennis, what’s with the name calling? Are you upset about something, dear?

    • fafaroo says:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone whose self-esteem was so totally dependent on such completely irrelevant indicators as you, Dennis.

When a conservative is not at the top of some best sellers list you clearly must spend the days curled up in the dark in the fatal position muttering to yourself over and over that “Everything’s still okay.”

      • Dennis says:

        Obsessed nitpicker fafaroo,

If I’m the one in the fetal position when a conservative doesn’t have a book on the besteller list, (as if that’s ever gonna happen) then what does that make HuffPo that they have to send their readers out on a fact-finding oppo research mission to verify Beck’s publisher’s claims that he’s the first ever to have books debut at the number one spot on The New York Times’ four lists: hardcover fiction, hardcover non-fiction, paperback non-fiction and children’s? Paranoid much?

I’m surprised you’re not also thumping your chest like Luv and pronouncing that you’ve also graduated from just wearing out girls like Carrie Prejean because you don’t know what to discuss with them in between your wearing out sessions.

        You guys slay me.

‘Sorry, Carrie, I know you love that ‘bad-boy’ thang I got goin’ on and you gotta have me every which way but Sunday right now, but you’ve got that distinct lack of complex intelligence makes you unattractive in my book.’

It’s like the Comedy Channel in here some days.

        • Wilbur says:

It’s like the Comedy Channel in here some days.

In where? In your head? Have fun in there.

        • fafaroo says:

(as if that’s ever gonna happen)

What an expressive parenthetical! I can almost hear your desperate “Phew!” that you’ll never have to face what would be a devastating blow to your sense of self.

        • Burn says:

It’s called Comedy Central. But thanks for trying to appear ‘with it’

  6. Rex Mundane says:

More Detailed Dennis: Being marketable makes any idea factually correct.

  7. Luv says:

Her distinct lack of complex intelligence makes her unattractive in my book. I’m well past the stage of my life where I desired the “pretty but dumb” girl that I can just wear out in the bedroom and not be around her until the next time I felt like wearing her out.

If I can’t have an intelligent conversation with a woman, or if she won’t be interested in me unless I act like a sex-starved “bad boy” then I have no use for her.

  8. dkxkee says:

I work at a Barnes and Noble part-time (Kansas City). We received 18 copies of Prejean’s book Oct 30, which has been prominently displayed in the Current Events new release bay (contrary to what Coulter, Beck, and Levin will harp about us hiding their books so no one can see them). I am proud to say that as of yesterday, we have not sold one single copy. Will be interesting to see the buzz generated by Sarah’s epic–a couple of other books about her are headed straight for the bargain bin.

  9. SaveFarris says:

She’s so dumb, she agrees 100% with Barack Obama’s position on gay marriage!!

  10. The Dark Avenger says:

When did Obama make a statement about “opposite-sex marriage”, SaveFarris?

  11. bikelib says:

SaveFarris: And Obama is fuckin WRONG on that issue. What’s your point? Or do you just assume that we’re just like you and the rest of your wingnut brethren: Blindly agreeing with whatever your leaders say or do?

  12. SpiderJ says:

I could have sworn this would be a thread that the wingnuts wouldn’t wade into to try and mount a defense. Surely, I thought, when I look at this post there will be no more than three comments, because the wingnuts know better than to try and stand on such a weak position as “I must defend the beauty queen who is super-moral and opposes gay marriage and made an underage sex tape.”

    Wonders never cease.

  13. Parthenon says:

What could a 20 year old disgraced former pageant contestant have to write a book about? How the establishment just keeps trying to beat down white conservatives with lucrative book deals?

    • Burn says:

Well, don’t you see? She’s the victim here. That’s how these wackjob wingnuts operate. Nothing is her fault, because she is just a special little flower, and it’s those meanies and liberals who are at fault here.

She’s a total liar, completely full of herself and she thinks the public is as dumb and dishonest as she is…you know, I just described Sarah Palin too!

  14. biggerbox says:

Pretty? I guess… if you can’t tell that she has lizard skin underneath.

  15. jr says:

“making a sex tape makes you a great American”-Sean Hannity to Carrie Prejean

  16. ignatz says:

I don’t even think she’s pretty. Too skinny for one thing. Her face is pretty enough, but not for a beauty pageant contestant.

  17. The way you are attacking her, you’d think she represented some kind of threat to you. But that just couldn’t be , now could it?

    Heh

    • You mean the same way Sarah Palin was a “threat” to us last year? No, I traffic in highlighting conservative stupidity. It’s a bonus for me when its wrapped up in a blonde wearing a bikini.

  18. Jaim says:

She represents Republican hypocrisy Frank. She tries to tell others how to live their lives (i.e., gays shouldn’t marry) but in her own life she is incredibly immoral (by her own standards, i.e., making pornography and having underage, out-of-marriage sex).

But just look at yourself — you rail against government healthcare, but you yourself benefit from it.

  19. gumby says:

Well, a walking Barbie held up as a beacon of morality and high principle is disconcerting. Not a threat, exactly, but an indicator of the low standards some folks have around moral leadership. That the moral high ground has been ceded through the existence of a sex tape permits yet another headslappin’ moment of schadenfreude. That’s all.

Are you thinking Frank that we are awed by her moral strength and vision and had to attack this beacon of virtue?

  20. Gravitys Angel says:

Saw Ms. Prejean on Fox Business this afternoon – she made a comment about how she’s being attacked because she is a “conservative woman”, and that the press attacks Sara Palin a lot more than they do Michelle Obama for that same reason. Nice to see she has a real grasp on reality.

Ms. Prejean is nothing more than a professional martyr. Everything is someone elses fault, and she’s just being persecuted because of her beliefs. The day she takes responsibility for HER own choices is the day I take anything she says seriously.

  21. Zython says:

Beck’s publisher’s claims that he’s the first ever to have books debut at the number one spot on The New York Times’ four lists: hardcover fiction, hardcover non-fiction, paperback non-fiction and children’s?

Too bad they’re all the same book.

Acting gay isn’t the way you support gay rights, Luv, if that’s what you’re trying to do with this god awful post.

…Wow, caring about a woman’s intellect is “gay”? You are one sick little shit.

  22. Burn says:

I cannot wait to see her homemade finger-on-the-button video.

  23. Jaim says:

Victimization is essential to Republican/conservative identity. They fuck up royally over and over again, but it’s never their fault. For starters, just look at the trolls here and their constant whining about how gosh-darn oppressed they are.

Party of personal responsibility my ass.

  24. Jaim, you are impossibly dense… I do not rail against government health care , any more than you brag about being on the government teat in Korea.

What I have been trying to warn you all about is that you are all going to be on Medicaid, for all intents and purposes, and I know what that is like.

Now, back to the nefarious Ms PreJean.

The only reason there is no hypocricy on the left is because you start out with no standards, ethics or morals. So to be caught committing even the most despicable acts is no contradiction or embarrassment.

  25. Jaim says:

“any more than you brag about being on the government teat in Korea.”

Excuse me? I work for a private business. I pay into the Korean health, pension, and tax system but I’ve never used it beyond my initial medical screening for my Visa.

So please go fuck yourself you doddering old sack of shit.

“you are all going to be on Medicaid”

No, the uninsured will have access to a government insurance plan that they can afford. Yet another Catholic hypocrite who couldn’t give two shits about the poor and the sick. What a laughable excuse for a human you are.

“you start out with no standards, ethics or morals”

I’m opposed to the execution of the innocent due to mistakes in our legal system. You’re all for it. Like I said, you’re a lot more likely to burn in hell for eternity than I am. Hope you enjoy yourself.

  26. fafaroo says:

The only reason there is no hypocricy on the left is because you start out with no standards, ethics or morals. So to be caught committing even the most despicable acts is no contradiction or embarrassment.

And what does it say that, as a conservative, you can type these sentences without any embarrassment?

  27. gumby says:

“The only reason there is no hypocricy on the left is because you start out with no standards, ethics or morals.”

Gee, and I thought liberals were moralizing woolly headed sentimentalists who let their delicate feelings for their fellow man cloud their judgement.

After the ethics and morals of the past eight years, I don’t know how you can even utter such a tendentious hypocritical phrase without the heavens gaping and striking you down.
