Rupert Murdoch’s Horse & Buggy
Tweet
If I were a newspaper person operating on line versus Rupert Murdoch I would be laughing and salivating over his plans to charge and remove them from Google. That’s essentially a plan to make News Corp. irrelevant. This is a digital strategy from the people who have completely failed with MySpace.

Rupert Murdoch is going to replace Google with smoke signals.
In related news, the loony right wing Washington Times sacked a bunch of its executive staff today, with at least one more firing rumored. The Times’ paid circulation (67,148 daily) is about one-eighth of that of the Post. Even more changes are said to be in store after Sun Myung Moon turns control of his racket over to his sons.
The Times is in such bad shape, they outsource their printing to the “liberal left” Baltimore Sun. Speaking of which: the Sun is using as little AP material as possible this week in a cost-cutting/evaluation move.
