Making Florida The Next NY-23?
The Club For Growth endorses Marco Rubio in Florida, because the current GOP is far more interested in a right wing extremist like Rubio rather than a popular governor like Crist having a shot at federal office.
Its not a coincidence that the same mindset that drove the country into a ditch over the last 8 years has come up with this ass-backwards political strategy. Look, if this purging for pure conservatives was going on in solid GOP states like Alabama, Georgia, etc. it might make sense – but while there are pockets of that sort of knuckle dragging in Florida, a statewide nominee has to be a little more rooted in reality.

Jay Cost explains that while the media is obsessed with rather insignificant divisions in the Republican Party right now, the real story is watching Obama partitioning his own party.
How to Divide a Party in Three Easy Steps
Yes, Republicans purging their party clearly means good news for John McCain. You are so predictable.
Insignificant divisions . . . How many votes did the HCR bill pass the house by?
There’s no state income tax under Crist but he isn’t “conservative” enough
Over course the Tinfoil Hat Brigade hate Charlie Crist — he’s reasonable and rational.
Republicans lose a seat they held for over a century, and this is clearly good news for John McCain.
pssst… and you know, one of them.
Club for Growth? Is that a real thing? As in Hair Club for Men?
Would like to see the Venn diagram for those two groups.
I’m pretty certain that Rubio is not ranked well in the polls against a Dem challenger, Meek I think. Therefore, Rubio has the best chance to win according to the Freepers! Maybe Crist will drop out and put money and help towards Meek like Schozza did.
