Actress Jessica Alba met with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi Friday morning to talk about the importance of global education. Pelosi then took Alba to a conference room in the speaker’s suite to address 18 members of the Democratic Women’s Caucus about raising awareness of the issue.

‘Jessica spoke very articulately and knowledgably about the need for greater emphasis on education,’ a House leadership staffer told Politics Daily in an exclusive interview Friday morning.

    Love your blog. However, that .gif of Alba beckoning the viewer to bed with her put me in a trance for quite awhile. I totally lost track of time for awhile. She has strange powers, that one. They should drop her off in the middle of war zones. Insta-Peace.

    To be honest, I’d rather have Pelosi wasting her time with Alba than crafting legislation. The last time she wrote a bill, we wound up with 10.2% unemployment.

    His conservative politics are hardly a secret. I’d always figured him for being a saner conservative than someone who would pal around with crazy-ass Voight and Bachmann.

    Here I had been giving him the benefit of the doubt, assuming his portrayals of pompous fools who think they know a lot was, y’know, acting.
