J-Stew gave 110% for that one. Nice.
I guess you have to watch Glenn Beck to get the humor.
amazing
Well, you have to watch enough to understand what Beck’s schtick is. As pervasive as Beck is nowadays as one of your team’s primary leaders (were you somehow unaware of this?), many of us on the Reality Based side have seen clips of various wacky Beck rants and proclamations. You should check it out. You know, so you get it. It’s very funny (could you hear the laughter in the Stewart segment?).
Good luck!
Yes, apparently one reason Fox beats the other cables in ratings is that in addition to the whackjobs who actually like Beck & co. a lot of normal people tune in just for the unintentional comedy value. Me, I get my giggles elsewhere.
Not unaware, just don’t watch or listen. I don’t watch TV except for the occasional sporting event or movie. I prefer to get my entertainment & information in the written form.
Reminds one of the classic:
Spooky.
Television! Teacher, mother, secret lover.
Homer Simpson
I’d find it funnier if I didn’t know other people viewed it with deathly seriousness. The black comedy of it all gets tempered with the knowledge that somebody, somewhere, is going to take such lunacy and use it as the basis for activism and legislation.
The modern Republican party.
“Purity of Essence” for the win.
At least he didn’t say if he had to watch one network it’d be Fox News.
Have you ever seen Obama drink a glass of water ?
Eleven principles and three herbs and spices. I absolutely can’t stop laughing.

Definitely a story for you.
Get over yourself dude. Get back to me when you have a few kids in the house and let me know if you’d prefer quiet entertainment or noisy bloviators, shoot-em ups, or murder and mayhem.
Skousen cult member down
Ha haha @ comic book nerd in chief.
I’m more worried that it’s going to inspire acts of violence. At least you can try to combat activism and legislation with logic and counter-activism.
And I don’t watch TV either, but I’ve seen more than enough clips of Beck to get all of the references that Jon used in this clip.
Get over yourself dude.
Yay bread and circuses!
You didn’t use the Latin? What a Philstine!
We’ve got Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert. They’ve got hatched-faced weasels like Greg Gutfeld. Says a lot.
I’ll bet William isn’t a Republican either.
