Let’s see…. a felon in charge of Homeland Security, an Arabian Show Horse judge in charge of Emergency Management, lobbyists writing legislation, Harriet Miers for the Supreme Court, Mark Foley heading a committee to protect children from sexual abuse, Sarah Palin for VP, a man who wants to lop ten stories off the UN as UN ambassador, and Monica Goodling in charge of evaluating prospective US attorneys.

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

If the best you can do is to whine like a girl about ‘tax cheats’ then by all means, bring it on. It will be great fun to witness. Has it made a difference yet? Has anyone resigned as a result of it? Maybe you can call your hero Glen Beck and he can cry on TV about it for weeks on end.

You should know when to distance yourself from people like this.

Despite the fact that I didn’t defend Kerik in any way, I will still respond to your comment. As I said, Kerik did not make it into the position (that’s distancing), yet we now have multiple tax cheats actually in cabinet posts (that’s not).

Finally, please don’t tell me you honestly believe they are not tax cheats just because they agreed, and were allowed, to pay their evaded taxes as a prerequisite to assuming their cabinet positions.

You know, the problem is with wingnuts is you don’t know when to abandon those that need to be shunned. You guys fight tooth and nail to the very bitter end, somehow thinking that if you just yell loud enough and keep huffing and puffing, that will make everything better.

Here’s the deal, Kerik is a lying corrupt scumbag. You should know when to distance yourself from people like this.

I think it was Oliver who said if a picture of Rush Limbaugh surfaced in full KKK garb, his gushing fanboys would be the first in line to defend him, saying well he was just comparing cotton blends.

Well this pulled me out of the doldrums to point out, again, that Kerik did not make it into the position, yet we now have multiple tax cheats actually in cabinet posts, including the head of Treasury, of all places. This is really an issue you want to use to talk about judgment?
