Watching Bobby Haircut

Oh boy, Bob Ehrlich is taking some inspiration from GOP wins in New Jersey and Virginia and thinking about taking another run for governor here in Maryland. I relish the thought. Maryland isn’t Virginia or Jersey. The election of Ehrlich in 2002 was an anomaly, quickly corrected by the citizens in resounding fashion 3 years ago.

Governing Magazine just named Gov. O’Malley the governor of the year.

We’ll have to wait for the Dick Armey seal of approval before declaring victory.

Republicans won against a boring centrist in Virginia and a scandal-tainted guy in New Jersey. Not to mention committing political suicide in New York.

Call me when they manage to beat a quality Democrat.

If Ehrlich wants to know what the people of Maryland think about a possible run, all he has to do is spy on us again.

In a perfect world, not only would Ehrlich run again, but Steele would run with him.
