Talk Loudly

Alan Grayson’s campaign has already raised over the $400,000 they planned to raise today and are now within reach of $500,000… It pays to be tough in D.C.

You get stalked by Griff Jenkins if you try to make Teddy Roosevelt’s dream a reality

Despite Rep. Anthony Weiner calling Grayson ‘one fry short of a Happy Meal’, he’s a fairly intelligent guy.

I was surprised how he went all deer in the headlights and totally let Griff Jenkins just Terkel the crap out of him. From a loudmouth to total clam in a matter of a day.

The guy’s just a liberal, male version of Michelle Bachmann.

    • Except he’s telling the truth about policy in blunt terms while Bachmann’s running around telling people about FEMA camps.

      • Indeed says:

‘Xactly. Although one might contend that that’s a key difference between liberals and conservatives at this point in time; Bachman and Grayson stay true to their sides with their relative approaches to the facts on the ground. “Reality has a well-known Liberal Bias” and all that.

Really? I was unaware that Ms. Bachman had graduated in three years from Harvard, summa cum laude, had a law degree (with honors) from Harvard Law, a Masters in public policy, and had worked with two future Supreme Court justices.

If what you are saying is correct, then Ms. Bachman is too modest. She should tell more people about her accomplishments that match those of Mr. Grayson.

Booman over @ http://www.boomantribune.com/ had a good critique about Grayson’s performance since being elected. While I find I don’t agree completely with Booman on his write-up, I understand his point that Grayson is from a competitive district in FL, and that it appears he’s spending more time and effort throwing bombs at Republicans than taking care of his district’s constituents.

I’m hopeful, though, that this ‘phase’ is only because of the importance of the issue for which he’s fighting, and that once it passes, he may concentrate more of his remaining term on caring for his district–it would be a shame if he were to lose in ‘10 because he ignored his people…

Repack, I wasn’t talking about similarities in educational background. What I meant was that both individuals are partisan, hard-core ideologues who have a tendency to make bombastic and over-the-top statements.
