  1. Dennis says:

A little outdated, OW; the White House has already made peace with FOX News.

Now their new public enemy is Edmunds.com.

The White House Stupidly Goes To War With Car Web Site Edmunds.com

    No shame.

  2. Amazing! That’s exactly the same story that was leading Memeorandum this morning because a couple of right-wing blogs were hyping it! What a strange and unprecedented coincidence!

  3. Dennis says:

“Harvard is free. You’re on a roll today.”
    –August J. Pollack.

    • Wrong post, Dennis, Oliver actually MADE a post about the link you tried to derail this one with, so now you have to make a derail in THAT one. Are you feeling well today?

  4. Joey Doughnuts says:

I don’t understand, Fox says that they’re Fair and Balanced. Why would they lie?

Since Dennis likes taking EVERY single thread off topic, lets all talk about how Dickie C. shot someone in the face that one time. Remember when our VP aactually shot someone in the face? In the face!!!

As long as our leaders are not putting fancy dejon mustard on their food (Damn Socialists) it’s cool….

    • Ed Norton says:

Shot in the face? So what?

F*cker deserved it. Getting in range while the Dickster was on point? That’s a No-No in my books. Why, if Dick hadn’t gone for deferment #6 back in the day, he might have snagged a Bronze Star for a caper like that.

Just goes to show. What, I have no idea.

  5. rip says:

Be nice to Dennis – he is our blessed little angel.

  6. jr says:

Kimberly Guilfoyle thinks health care reform is like Hitler invading Russia

    • Dennis says:

And loudmouth Congressman Alan Grayson declares our current system is akin to the Holocaust.

      • Yes, how dare he be.. UNCIVIL!??!

      • Joey Doughnuts says:

our VICE PRESIDENT SHOT SOMEONE IN THE FACE!!!!!!!

      • Quaker in a Basement says:

And loudmouth Congressman Alan Grayson declares our current system is akin to the Holocaust.

Is that somehow related to Fox News? Or are you threadjacking again?

        Fox?

        • Dennis says:

          Ask jr, Qibs.

Be an equal opportunity protester for once in your life.

          Fox?

Pew Research: Fox News Viewed as Most Ideological Network

Fine, the results may make libs get up and cheer that people in general if the poll results are to be believed, that Fox is more ideologically right than the others are left. But that only confirms what people who watch FOX have always maintained, that it’s one right-leaning station against all the rest that lean decidedly left, so what are MMFA and all the liberal blogs and Obama, Gibbs, Axelrod, Emmanuel, Jarret and Chairwoman Mao Tse-Dunn all bitching about? It’s one against the world and they don’t like those odds. Libs have the thinnest skins imaginable and you guys are cheering that Obama is ‘fighting back’ and not bending over like supposedly Kerry did, which is crap. The media went all-out for Kerry and that wasn’t good enough to get the job done, so they doubled down on Obama last year, as every study done on media bias in the last election will attest to.

          • Quaker in a Basement says:

            Ask jr, Qibs

jr posted about Kimberly Guilfoyle who is a cable news personality on…lessee..what channel?

            Fox?

          • mambochicken23 says:

Yes, yes, it’s you guys against the world! Yes, and that justifies false, misleading, and stupid programming that poisons the political discourse in this country! Absolutely agreed!

And furthermore, Obama and the White House should just grin and take the big Fox News dick in their asses AND SHUT UP ABOUT IT! Absolutely. Since it’s just one itty bitty widdle network that’s maligning them unfairly and intentionally presenting an overwhelmingly positive GOP/negative Dem viewpoint, well, then it’s totally okay!

            Good point, clown.

          • Dennis says:

Why don’t you apply for a position as a sitemonitor, Quibs? I’d be all for that. Establish some rules and you apply them equally and fairly.

Go for it. I’ll even nominate you.

          • Quaker in a Basement says:

Why not just stay on topic?

          • Dennis says:

Mambo the Chicken, again, you’re the clown. What are you saying, that everyone is biased but FOx is more so, so it’s ok to attack Fox and leave the rest of them alone? That’s prety much what Valerie Jarrett just told Campbell Brown of CNN.

So what does the White House do next? They attack Edmunds.com.

            Bravo. Woo hoo.

Or as Quibs would say “Haw! That’s what I’m talking about.”

          • mambochicken23 says:

I don’t understand what calling me “Mambo the Chicken” is supposed to do for you, anyway. It’s stupid. You keep clowning around though!

It’s more than okay for the White House to criticize Fox News, because the network basically is the mouthpiece for the GOP, it is not “Fair and Balanced”, and it lies and distorts information in order to try and undermine Obama’s administration. They are not honest with their criticisms nor their coverage in total. Make sense, clown?

And who gives a flying fuck about whether they call out Edmunds.com? Do you lose sleep at night over this kind of thing? Damn, you’re a dope.

I have no problem whatsoever with the administration criticizing influential people and entities that distort and lie in order to attack the Democrats and Obama in particular. None. If you don’t want the Obama administration to jump on you, THEN DON’T MAKE UP BULLSHIT TO CRITICIZE THEM. Not hard to understand.

          • Dennis says:

Edmunds didn’t lie or distort, Chicken; that’s the point. Obama’s White House took exception to some points they made and then made the Mars comment. That sounds like something exactly like you’d see on Media Matters. Exactly. That White House blog is essentially MMFA Redux.

It’s one opinion against another opinion and Obama doesn’t like any opinions that criticize him. He’s President Thin-Skin.

          • Quaker in a Basement says:

Or as Quibs would say “Haw! That’s what I’m talking about.”

Misquoting me again, Dennis? You’re testing my charitable nature and causing me to think you’re misleading folks on purpose.

            • mambochicken23 says:

Oh yeah, I remember that incident. What an intellectually dishonest, miserable person.

  7. gumby says:

yeah, but Joey, the guy who got shot apologized.

  8. I'm a Hick says:

‘Go for it. I’ll even nominate you.’

    Second.

    • Dennis says:

      Thanks, Hick, a second.

      There you go, Quibbie.

      • I'm a Hick says:

I want a cushy job in return.

        • Dennis says:

          Maybe you could, too, Hick.

Two eight hour shifts among the two of you and let the 12 am- 8am shift continue being the Wild, Wild, West for brawls and mambochicken vulgarity and challenges to duels.

          • Quaker in a Basement says:

Do I understand correctlly? Your own threadjacking isn’t blameworthy. Noticing your threadjacking, not so much.

            • Dennis says:

No, Wuibs, you don’t understand correctly. What you’re saying is jr ws spot-on topic by making a statement about someone who appears on FOX, but my reply to him was off-topic. If you’re the expert on what’s on-topic and what’s not, then why don’t you volunteer to be a site-monitor.

Wanna go over comments on this thread alone and see which ones were on-topic?

How about we start with your seven comments. Every one of them.?

              Fox, Quaker?

              • Quaker in a Basement says:

then why don’t you volunteer to be a site-monitor.

I don’t have time for it, Den. Pointing out your diversions, misdirections, and straight out “look-over-there” threadjacks gives me as much as I can handle. I don’t have time to take on larger responsibilities.

              • Quaker in a Basement says:

You want a comment on Fox? Stewart is spot on. Fox’s initial response was: “Well, most of our broadcast day doesn’t count because it’s all opinion, not news.”

In short, “The White House says we’re not a news channel? Well, duh!”

          • Quaker in a Basement says:

            Fox?

  9. isms says:

Here’s a good distraction for this thread –

Rush “Take that bone out of your nose and call back later.”

  10. Jaim says:

Hey Dennis, if you don’t like it here so much try:

  11. buma says:

Jon Stewart nailed it, which is why dennis is in full look-over-here mode.
