Yeah, glad that language got taken out of the bill.

What language, Dennis? The "death panel" language? Would you care to actually cite that the original language that authorized "death panels" that would determine who lived and who died? You never actually did cite that language, Dennis. Would you care to now?

Oh, that reminds me, how about your liberal radical hero, Alan Grayson.

You mean the guy you thought was a bigger liar than Sara Palin, who you all but admitted lied about the "death panel" language in the original bill?

Yeah, glad that language got taken out of the bill.

Oh, that reminds me, how about your liberal radical hero, Alan Grayson. First he tells you Republicans want you to die quickly and compares our health care system to the Holocaust, and now he's calling female lobbyists 'whores'.

Classy.

And of course Obama's right there to call him an excellent Congressman.

Radicals R Us. Yes sir.

Depends, Farris. Are you counting all network affiliates as being part of the same "network" as the cable news channel?

Your argument would only hold up if FOX had even occasionally held the Bush administration to the same standard, but they didn’t; they consistently PRAISED every policy move no matter how obvious and enduring the failure for a sustained period of 8 years.

Try as you might, you and the Right cannot erase this fact.
--jrfunkenstein

It's not FACT, jrfunky; it's a ridiculously false assertion on your part. Since you asserted it, why don't you attempt to back it up so we can all have some fun here on your behalf.

I think when you post stupid crap here that you forget it's not Think Progress where you easily get away with it and you get the two places mixed up.

Jrfunky continues to compete with Zython for Most Idiotic Commentary in the 'Young and Clueless' demographic, Frank, and this one increases his chances.

Remember this doozy of his from the Michael Jackson thread....

People forget that before Off the Wall, NO Black artists were played regularly on so called White radio. Before Thriller, MTV NEVER played Black artists. MJ was the first truly global crossover star,...

junior couldn't possibly believe that many FOX commentators were against the Dubai ports deal, against Harriet Meyers for SCOTUS, against Bush's immigration reforms. He wouldn't have a clue as to who said what or who was for or against what, he just makes the false assertion that FOX was for whatever GWB was for, just like he so easily stated with no caveats that "before Off the Wall, NO Black artists were played regularly on so called White radio".

Beyond idiocy;......Willful ignorance.

JR, you can't possibly know if FOX News "consistently PRAISED every policy move no matter how obvious and enduring the failure for a sustained period of 8 years."
Why even make such a statement. I have watched many segments of FOX News for years -- Fox and friends, Neal Cavuoto, mostly, and heard the Bush administration criticized many times. I repeat - many times.

'And it’s condescending for you and especially Barack Obama to make the presumption that people only watch Fox News for their information and can’t discern what is opinion and what is actual news.'

Your argument would only hold up if FOX had even occasionally held the Bush administration to the same standard, but they didn't; they consistently PRAISED every policy move no matter how obvious and enduring the failure for a sustained period of 8 years.

'JR: Please explain to me how FOX News is America’s verison of Pravda, when they don’t support the government in power. I think your “bumper sticker du jour” is outdated.'

It might have something to do with their assistance in organizing those ridiculous tea party shams all summer long, or their inability to hold a debate on any issue with an equal representation of both sides, or their committed refusal to see the new administration in any terms short of tyrannical, even after they sycophantically praised the Bush administration for every methodically disastrous policy error they made for 8 miserable years of failure.

If you support Obama’s Marxist impersonation of suppressing free speech and demonizing the news media, jrfunky, then you have indeed chosen to champion America’s version of Pravda.'

Unbelievable; The WH, after sustaining months of unending distortions and outright fabrications being pushed by FOX, finally says flat out that the administration won't be silent while the propaganda media wing of the GOP
attempts to add to the unquenchable thirst for slander and lies from their bottom feeder audience, and the Right wing goes apoplectic in their defense of the ridiculous notion that a 'news' network has every right to broadcast whatever libelous crap they want.

'You’re in favor of Obama turning the rest of the news media outlets into becoming even more Pravda-like.'

I, like many on the Left, am in favor of news organizations operating as independent entities entrusted with providing accurate and unbiased reports of actual news, not prepackaged diatribes against an administration that is diametrically opposed to the political ideology of its corporate masters.

'How many liberals telling you this is a huge mistake on Obama’s part is it going to take to convince you otherwise;...'

There isn't enough Liberals on Earth to convince me that the WH speaking the truth about an openly hostile and rabidly biased media outlet is somehow damaging to the credibility of the administration, and not to FOX; why else would every Right wing supporter in the U.S. be howling about freedom of speech, after witnessing the Bush administration pay reporters and news divisions to publish positive items about their dubious sucesses? Or have planted fake journalists in their WH press briefings? Where was your outcry for the sanctity of the press on those occasions?

'...that we’re not like Canada? At least not yet.'

Why on Earth would you want to have a functioning health care system that isn't bankrupting the nation, or have hate crime laws that prevent the likes of FOX, Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Coulter, Dobbs etc. from spreading pernicious lies that further erode the intelligence of the population, or elect leaders that don't march off to war on the flimsiest rationales, or an economy that is regulated to ensure it's not hijacked by unscrupulous predators and practices that could nearly destroy the global financial system?

Why the Hell would you want that?

Alright, let's see what I can clear up.

I’d rather be more like Canada than Honduras, thank you very much.

Many ultra-cons, such as AO, have expressed the desire to emulate Honduras. I am stating that it's a better idea to emulate a 1st world country than a 3rd world one.

Or…wait…did they have cryogenic freezing in 1925?

Ok, this one IS a tad ambiguous. Here, I'm stating that criticizing "Chicago politics" went old after the 1929 stock market crash. Apparently, you didn't get the memo.

From here on, I'm going to assume you got lazy and/or distracted and didn't bother reading the rest.

Ok, this one IS a tad ambiguous. Here, I’m stating that criticizing “Chicago politics” went old after the 1929 stock market crash. Apparently, you didn’t get the memo.

From here on, I’m going to assume you got lazy and/or distracted and didn’t bother reading the rest.

Zython, you are the most bizarre dude I have ever read comments from on the internet. I don’t know what vocation you’d like to pursue after you finish college but hopefully it’s not one where it involves human interaction, because if it does, you’re going to need a full-time interpreter.

Translation: "I don't know what you're saying, therefore, you're wrong."

Wait Dennis- a conservative win in a +15 R District and a GOP turnover in a purple state is "referendum for change" in a way that landslide victories in 2006 and 2008 as well as the most lopsided victory in a Presidental race in nearly a quarter century weren't?

And Hoffman is looking good in NY against the RINO.
A conservative just barely doing ok in a +30% GOP district is a good thing?

How much difference do you think running a good campaign for Deeds would have made for him? And Christie, I don't know, but is he running a good campaign in that heavily blue state?

And Hoffman is looking good in NY against the RINO.

I don't know, Oliver, looking like a referendum for change from where I sit.

People did want change last year. A year later they're asking when that train's comin' in to the station, because it was scheduled for a long time ago.

Off topic but the NJ race is still close (Christie was like +10 this summer) and I would still bet on Corzine to win. Deeds has run a poor campaign and will likely lose. We had the major referendum on change last November and two governor's races in an off year won't revoke that result.
