Some of the anti-vaccine nuts were trying to say that because Sasha and Malia didn’t get their shots yet, that was proof something was wrong with the vaccine.

A talking point dies.

First daughters Malia and Sasha Obama were vaccinated last week against the H1N1 flu virus, the White House announced late Tuesday in a post on the official White House blog.

“President and Mrs. Obama have not yet been vaccinated for H1N1,” Katie McCormick-Lelyveld, the first lady’s press secretary wrote, “and they will wait until the needs of the priority groups identified by the CDC – including young people under the age of 24, pregnant women, and people with underlying conditions – have been met.”

And a new talking point will rise… “Obama girls get vaccinated while millions are still waiting for theirs.”

The Obamas are damned if they do or damned if they don’t.

  2. Too bad the link you provided was not to an anti-vaccine nut. That would have meant something. As it is , this is just The First Kids Get Their Shots.

CJ, what if one person does say that, does that really mean the Obamas are damned if they, and damned if they don’t?

If that one person is Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, or Michelle Malkin (the holy wingnut ragegasm trinity), you damn well better believe it does. At least as far as the Teabagger Caucus and the FOX nation are concernend.

  7. daniel rotter says:

You honestly think only one person is going to “say that,” Frank?

  8. zadig says:

Already the meme in Boston during the afternoon drive time. Our local nut (Jay Severin, aka Jimmy Severino) had a pregnant woman on who couldn’t find the vaccine, bitched because the Obama kids have gotten it, then went on to say that we can’t get vaccine because it’s government run and this is the future with the public option.

Even I don’t do enough substances to be that kind of nuts.

  9. Daniel, if it becomes “news” in the conservative world, I’ll hear about. If it does, I’ll let you know.

  10. Kevin says:

I still don’t believe for a second that if they did truly get the vaccine that its the same toxic vaccine they are pushing on the rest of the public to get.

and some good youtube information on the “pandemic” of 1967 (or maybe it was 1976 i dont quite remember)

why dont you explain to an ex washington redskins cheerleader who is crippled for life from a flu vaccine that they are so helpful and safe?

Why don’t you comment on the deadly adjuvants added to swine flu vaccine squalene and thimerosal? how about their links to ALS and Gulf War Syndrome? squalene was a major ingredient in the deadly anthrax vaccine.

lets not forget a FEDERAL COURT conceding that thimerosal has been directly linked to cases of autism?

or even better lets look at some of the great potential side effects admitted on the fda.gov pdf of the ingredients?

    http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBloodVaccines/Vaccines/ApprovedProducts/UCM182242.pdf

and this is in the US vaccine which supposedly doesn’t have squalene but DOES have thimerosal, i can’t imagine how much deadlier the vaccine is in the UK that DOES have squalene in it.
    here are some juicy excerpts:

  11. Durablend, that comment was addressed to Mr Rotter, was it not?

  12. Durablend, then it is nonsense… If it doesn’t happen , as I suggested it would not, why would I have to make something up.

Oh, wait! I get it! If it does happen that people do say that, then I will lie and say that they did not… I see

Well, as of day one , no one has suggested it .

  13. Sean D. Martin says:

Frank DiSalle: Daniel, if it becomes “news” in the conservative world, I’ll hear about.

Why limit your “world” to just part of it?

  14. Because supposedly, it is conservatives who are going to complain that the Obama girls should not have got the shots ahead of everyone else.

Of course, if it erupts in the liberal world, it will appear on 12 channels and 100 newspapers.
