I'll never get those neurons back. The ending was just so inconceivably awful. I heard all the vague, spoiler-free warnings before Netflix had the series available, and I just didn't pay attention. The "Caprica" prequel they released some time ago really doesn't make the new series it premieres look promising - it looks like they took all the wrong lessons from BSG, and think that portentious philosophy and navel-gazing was their strong suit. Oliver's summary of "The Plan" is similarly troubling - especially as there never seemed to be much evidence in the series that the Cylons really had a plan.
