Fox News Made Up Story About White House Ban

This kind of story is exactly why the White House isn’t interested in treating Fox News like a legit news org. It isn’t one no matter what Jake Tapper says.

Jake Tapper wants to drink Roger Ailes’ bath water

  2. From the article :
The White House, for its part, isn’t looking to make nice with Fox News, telling TPM “This White House has demonstrated our willingness to exclude Fox News from newsmaking interviews, but yesterday we did not.”

    * * *

While the Obama administration’s handling of Fox News has veered into heavy-handedness recently

But the White House is not picking on FOX…

    *whew* That’s a relief!

  3. Amused Observer says:

How curious, moments ago there were several more comments here. Most of them pointing out examples of Obama’s executive abilities.

Oliver, for some reason, the link you provided isn’t working anymore.

  5. Fafaroo says:

Yes, Tater Salad’s contributions were so damning they had to be suppressed before the whole administration was brought down.

Please. Tater Salad clearly chose his name to alert us all to what he’s got between his ears.

  6. ABS says:

why cant the White House give the same treatment to Obama that they gave to Bush? Oh right, because they had their lips planted on his ass.

  7. Tater Salad had no reason to take up all that space , A O ; I don’t blame Oliver one bit.

  8. Jamaicafest says:

I guess this is what you call “fair and balanced” reporting.

  9. Dennis says:

Oliver: There has been an update to this story that might be of interest to you and your fans.

Just a slight tweaking might suffice; namely that the opposite of what you wrote is what happened. Other than that….

  10. SaveFarris says:

See Oliver, *THIS POST* is what a “smear” looks like. You know who admits FOX got screwed on this interview? Robert Gibbs.

  11. Amused Observer says:

“the opposite of what you wrote is what happened”

And this is considered noteworthy or unique?

  12. cj says:

The President has every right to give interviews to who he choose to.

So Fake News is a news organization even when they make up lies and fake controversies i.e FEMA concentration camps, death book, indoctrination of school kids, reverse racism,ACORN controversy (while ignoring Halliburton/KBR, Blackwater/Xe controversies), health care rationing, government take over, czars (and now every cable news has picked up that saying), promoting protests against the government, etc.

See the thing about news is that news is supposed to be reported on not created. That’s the true difference between other news network and Fake news. While others are reporting on it Fake news is to busy creating news.

Yeah, those other “real” news organizations never make up news.

Well, except for the TANG documents.
      And the Rush quotes.
      and the exploding cars.
      and Jayson Blair.

  13. Dennis says:

    cj,

    Please watch this….and learn.

Jon Stewart to the media on ACORN:
    “Where the Hell Were You???

  14. cj says:

@Dennis-”Please watch this….and learn.” Coming from you, Dennis? BHAHAHAHAHHAH

You made me pee in my pants. Also when did you start advocating for Liberal shows?

Dennis I can show you twice as many videos of Jon Stewart coming done on Fake News for their hypocrisy.

    • Dennis says:

      cj,

You claimed FOX made up lies and fake controversies and you listed ACORN as an example of that. I could give you clips from a bunch of other news outlets besides FOX, but you’d scoff at all of them. Apparently you’ll scoff at a TOP 5 liberal hero like Jon Stewart, too; even when he goes against his Leftist bona fides and admonishes the whole news media industry for dropping the ball on the ACORN story.

Of course you can show me videos of Stewart poking fun of FOX– that’s the whole point of me putting that Jon Stewart video on here. I thought maybe the quintessential liberal hero proving what a boneheaded comment you just made might get through to you.

      Only trying to help.

I’m with Indeed and c.j. You got to love the irony of a Fox News defender urging someone to watch a Daily Show clip, a show where Stewart lambastes the F(R)NC constantly.

  16. Amused Observer says:

Witnessing these last several posts is like watching a recital of a grade school orchestra. You can recognize the tune even if they can’t hit the right notes. Dennis there is only so much a conducter can do when his students are so far to the right of the bell curve.

  17. Dennis says:

    Good analogy, AO.

Had a good laugh reading Indeed’s post where I guess he felt he needed to inform the Leftist advocates of suppressed media here that Jon Stewart wasn’t actually pro-Fox News.
