Call it wishful thinking, but I think this is the death knell “vote of confidence” from the management before they fire him after they lose to the Eagles Monday night.

With the bye week, Snyder and Cerrato will have plenty of time to find another completely unqualified and incompetent coach to overpay before they have to play another game.

Snyder seems to like former Redskins coaches – maybe he could recycle Richie Petitbon or Jack Pardee!

While they are lovewly ladies, I do have to wonder why the NFL even bothers at this point with dressing the cheerleaders at all. Let ‘em go neekid, I say.

Those aren’t cheerleaders. They’re women in bikinis. Which is not a concept I am opposed to, but still.. they aren’t cheerleaders.

You might as well wait till the end of the season though. Fire him now and the Redskins will still have a bad season. Wait until the end of the season to see what other coaches are going to given the boot.

Firing him now is just re-arranging the deck chairs. Not that I’d feel sorry for him, but the ‘Skins are screwed either way as long as Danny is in charge.

Yeah, ordering the head coach to let someone else call the plays is “not meant to undermine him.” Hilarious. And I’m starting to feel sorry for Jim Zorn now, because this is going to stick with him for a long, long time.

The only way Zorn isn’t fired before the end of the season is 1) if a miracle happens and the Skins win two or three games in the next few weeks, or 2) it becomes an ego thing for Snyder, where he’s by gum going to show you fans who’s calling the shots around here. I mean, isn’t Zorn essentially fired now? He’s a glorified quarterbacks coach if he can’t call plays on offense (because he sure isn’t going to call them on defense).
