THank you, DKel.We are brothers in arms , and I am not gonna bullshit you. A lot of the things Pres Obama says and does – even his body language – are scary.
I don’t know about anyone else , but for me, race has nothing to do with it, except for one possibility: He might be thinking, “THis is our time at bat. If I mess this up, there won’t be another black President for 100 years.” He might be thinking that, but I doubt it.
I think he is way over his head , because he IS inexperienced, and he IS too liberal, and he IS surrounded by lousy advisors.

I am going to take back my last post to you and apologize. For some reason I have had a hard-on for sniping at you as of late and I don’t know why. You are vocal, but I would say that you have been respectful…I may not LIKE the things you say at times, but you are far from nasty about it. At times I would say that you have been on the bitter end of postings.

I would say that some of the things that I hear at my unit about the current President kind of amaze and discourage me. Not because that I think everyone should agree lock-step with the Commander-in-Chief just because we are military. But I think there is a level of decorum that should be observed. I was not a fan of a lot of President Bush’s policies, but I tread carefully when discussing my dissent. There is a level of venom that I have witnessed in my food chain that is unbelievable at times, and to be quite frank, there is not much that I can say, or only so much I can say in my work environment. But skipping all of that, you have nothing to do with that, so I will say. “I’m sorry”, for being somewhat of a shit the last few months.
