I find it quite interesting that this “news” organization has been feeding people nothing but fear and hatred about this administration. For 24/7 they do nothing but betray the Obama Administration as an entity ready to bust down people doors and hog tie them up and ship them to Gitmo. Plus we have Rush and Glenn(besides his tv show) on their radio shows helping to drum up these fears and hatred even more. Then we have the on-line fear and hate-mongering at sites like RedStates, The Drudge, WorldNetDaily, etc doing this on a daily bases.

If a person does nothing but listen to these shows on a daily bases no one in their right mind would think the world is safe. People like yourself are being feed this stuff and you’re just eating it up(it says a lot about yourself too).

So now you have a good idea why the SS are having such an overwhelming time keeping track of all the hatred being spewed out towards the President and his family.

Again, if you look at how things actually are, Frank, it’s not a homogeneous country. And 46% of the people voted for the other guy.

You’re dismissing out of hand the possible reasons given by the other side while insisting it not dismiss out of hand your possible reasons.

And, typically, you’re insisting the other side is saying “it’s all racism”. Ascribing a single extreme viewpoint so you have a nice strawman to whack at.

So people voting for Obama shows there are many who put race aside. And the existence of increased threats against him show there are some who have been unable to do so.

There is no inherent contradiction between those two statements.

And when people answered that they have, you dismiss them as lying. So where is the point in actually trying to answer your question?

And I live in New Rochelle, New York, where people engaging in such conversations would be shown the door.

Yet you’ve commented that in nearby Bronxville a woman was repeatedly assumed to be a nanny because she was Puerto Rican and the child she was with was white.

I’d disagree with that as a general characterization of Bronxville, but your observation then conflicts with your current apparent view that New Rochelle is typical of everywhere.

Just because something is one way in your town doesn’t mean it’s like that everywhere. Your close-mindedness is showing. You really need to broaden your horizons, Frank, and take a look at the world beyond your neighborhood.

So your contention here is that racism is the least likely cause of a spike in threats against the life of the President.

Despite the national history of race issues and the rise in recruitment among white supremacist groups since last November, it is more likely that the administration and the Secret Service are engaged in a conspiracy to make it look like there are more threats against Obama’s life.
