What a disaster. Do Jason Campbell the courtesy of trading him quickly while he still has value for someone else.
Does it suck more to be a Skins fan or a Titans fan right now, I wonder. The Titans had higher expectations but the Skins went 2-4 against a winless half dozen.
Maybe if they all dressed up like Superman …

Does anybody remember a season where there were more really bad teams in the NFL? I can’t… 6 teams with 0 or 1 wins, and 4 more that are 2-4. Plus, the Titan’s yesterday gave a second performance that no NFL team ever should, along with Tampa’s 86 offensive yard game a couple weeks ago.
Oh, and yesterday’s TV games really sucked here in NC. We had Carolina/Tampa and Washington/KC. So 3 combined wins among all 4 teams on air… and then we had the NE debacle. I love college football.
So the solution is to give the play-calling to a guy who wasn’t here in the beginning and doesn’t really know the players and the system? I smell success!
They may as well let Zorn go. I don’t see Sherm Lewis making any difference. No matter what Zorn called, the offense managed to botch things for numerous reasons, most of which Zorn has no control over. Zorn is a scapegoat. The two biggest problems of this team are: 1)Snyder/Cerrato; and 2)Jason Campbell, now in his FIFTH season, who continues to be inconsistent. When he’s on, he’s on and when he’s not, he is AWFUL. Not just off but AWFUL and you can pretty much count on him being awful in the Red Zone or when the team needs a big play out of the QB. These are the facts and Jim Zorn has no control over them.
Why even have a coach? Just have someone from front office Human Resources schedule the on-field personnel, since then the job only involves counting to eleven. The team might pressure this individual to save money by putting out ten or nine, but would the results be any worse?
These Redskins could be a new model of efficiency for the League!
At this point, 12-4 seems increasingly unlikely.

Time to look into basketball or hockey. Curling? Cricket?
Last season I said that unless the Quarterback starts running and calling roll out options they are going to be blitzed forever and that’s what has happened….whenever Campbell finally takes off he gets yardage….the defense needs to be made to be honest…nothing can screw up a pass defense more than a Quarterback that now and then can run…even though he doesn’t gain much yardage….changing Quarterbacks will do nothing unless you can buy him some time
I await the inevitable Jason Campbell for Vince Young trade. Oliver, might be time to swing by the doctor, get the BP and cholesterol checked. I don’t want you to have a tombstone that says “killed by the Washington Redskins”.

The team is not dumb the management is. Give Jason Campbell any kind of offensive line at all and he could be a top ranked quarterback. His contract is up this year and if he and his agent were smart he would get out of there.

As a giants fan, this entire giant self-inflicted goatf*** has been a joy to watch. (Disclaimer: never had any particular animus towards the skins ’till Snyder started suing people who couldn’t pay for their season tickets and then -kept- the tickets, only to resell them.).
Say you’re a competent NFL coach. Why the F would you come work for a guy who is going to first bring in a “consultant” and then castrate you in the middle of the season? Especially when the GM is a complete jackass?
They may make money, but they’re turning into the Raiders of the east. High profile talent, no team cohesion. Guys like Snyder cannot win.
