    You were saying?

  2. Indeed says:

    Well, I for one was saying that I would never ever ever click on a SaveFarris link ever again. Said that a while ago. You know, Boy Who Cried Wolf and all that.

  3. I'm a Hick says:

    But Republicans get their lowest grades since Obama was elected on several measures:
    Voters disapprove 64 – 25 percent of the way Republicans in Congress are doing their job, with 42 percent of Republican voters disapproving;
    Only 29 percent think Republicans on Capitol Hill are acting in good faith;
    Voters trust Obama more than Republicans 47 – 31 percent to handle health care;
    Voters 53 – 25 percent have an unfavorable opinion of the Republican Party.

    Question form SaveFerris link…

    “As of right now, do you generally favor or generally oppose the health care proposals being discussed in Congress?
    34% Favor, 47% Oppose”

    See it talks about the proposals in Congress not about “Obamacare” whatever that is. And what has the Congress been proposing ….not much about the Public Options(besides the House).

    The last month it’s all been about the Baucus Bill which of course people don’t have high marks for because it’ a give away for the insurance industry.

    Republicans aren’t even in this game. The only fight is between two wings of the Democratic party. The Republicans gave up any relevance they had by making it clear that they would stand against any and all bills.

  8. icruise says:

    Why the heck did they do that, anyway? Wouldn’t it have made a lot more sense to keep stringing the Democrats along with hints that they might get on board, rather to say flat out that they wouldn’t vote for anything?

  9. Enlightened Liberal says:

    Because their rabid base would primary them, that’s why. And Rush Limbaugh would say bad things about them, and any good Republican knows, you don’t cross the leader of the party.
