Zython: How is calling someone who voted against a bill that would punish rapists “pro-rape” a stretch?

Have any of the 38 given any reason the were opposed to this measure? Can anyone provide a good thing that follows from not allowing victims to pursue criminal charges, or a bad thing that follows from allowing them to do so?

Zython, I will leave you to ponder that. The Bill is about reporting rape, and sctually isn’t even necessary. It doesn’t say anything about favoring or opposing rape, any more than the GOP Platform says “We hate gays”. Gee, Sean, no, Pres Clinton was not in offioe for ten years, so I guess you got me there.
What I meant was that “we” meaning the US inte;;igence community, knew about Osama bin Laden’s evil designs against the US for at least 10 years.

But, see, since Pres Clinton was not in office for 10 years, now you have tricked me into believing that the Democrats had no responsibility for the 9/11 attack , or as certain benighted souls put it, because they lack historical knowledge and perspective, “The Day Bush and The Republicans Fucked Up Royally.”

We can forgive them, because even invincible ignorance can be justified by the fact that they are recent products of America’s declining educational system, as well as the recipients of daily doses of left wing propaganda from the left wing MSM.
