if the Republican Party really wants to attract African-American voters, they have to do a lot more than simply point out Democratic foibles. Not letting Rush Limbaugh drive your public agenda would be a good start. Not being so closely identified with neo-Confederates would also help.

I think it’s somewhat true that sometimes the Democratic Party may take some black votes for granted. Still, if the Republican Party really wants to attract African-American voters, they have to do a lot more than simply point out Democratic foibles. She probably isn’t wearing body armor, though.

She threw with her body, so that the windup actually helped propel her motion forward. Obama’s wind-up did nothing for the forward motion of his shoulder and arm; the throw was almost all in his wrist. He played hoops, his throw was more like and overhead basketball pass than a baseball throw. No big deal. It’s not a knock on Obama.

I heard from a very reliable source that Sonia Sotomayor is racist. I think it was from the “Take that bone out of your nose and call me back!” guy. Truly baffling why the Republicans don’t do so well with minorities.
