I'd agree if American Express didn't shoot so many of their longtime customers (myself included) in the financial heart.

To get some of that yummy stimulus money, they somehow decided to kill credit lines on their revolving charge accounts - in other words, they slammed existing credit limits down to their customers' balances, leaving many of their beloved small business owners (me again) stranded, and killing their credit scores in the process by destroying their debt-to-credit ratios.

I thought they were singling me out until I read these other horror stories: http://tinyurl.com/dxm2m2

I blogged about this and readers had the same experience: http://tinyurl.com/czf2ex

So you might imagine that no matter how many heart strings they try to pull or how much they want to make nice, AMEX will never get a shred of empathy - or further business - from me.
