Oh, please. What posts moved by me at all? You claim some amount is too many and I ask you what amount wouldn’t be. I challenge you to clarify what you are saying, and that’s “moving the goal posts”?

Your attempt to move the posts is lame. The point is clear: in the same amount of time BO has done more interviews than his predecessors COMBINED. The man’s a classic narcissist, much less overexposed.

OK, so tell me exactly where you would draw the line?

Is it 40 interviews? Was Clinton “over exposed” because he gave 10% more interviews than Bush? Or is it higher than that? 60 interviews? 75? Could Bush have given nearly twice as many interviews as he did before he became “over exposed”?

You have an opinion on this, MGG. Don’t slink away from it now. 37 isn’t too many and 114 is, so where do you draw the line?

The New York Times Caucus blog reported: “As of his seven-month in office mark in August, he had done 114 interviews, compared to 37 by former President George W. Bush and 41 by former president Bill Clinton.”

Yeah, definitely NOT overexposed.

The Letterman gig was a good exposure for the Prez. He’s clearly intelligent, funny, clever and very – very – comfortable in his skin.

The more people see him as a “person” rather than a politician – the more they’ll be drawn to him. The more comfortable they are with him – the more they will support his policies.

I have great hope for Obama’s influence to spread throughout more of the American population – even while I have materially given up on the US as a positive influence in the world – due to America’s amazingly high proportion of ignorance (for which I mostly blame the stunningly high numbers of born again, anti brains, anti science, anti everything, retartds – as a Canadian who has also lived in Europe I really think most Americans have no idea just how ignorant an alarming number of your fellow citizens are. ) (End of authorized mini rant.)

I think our President is very eloquent. I have not been able to say this for the previous eight years. I support what he is trying to do and hope he succeeds in getting our economy back on track. God bless him.

The President could have rallies up and down the coast to pitch healthcare reforms and it may only boil down to a few snippets on the evening news. What better an opportunity there is than to get time on prime-time to spread the word in greater detail?
It would be fun if he showed up on Real Time and got an opportunity to flip the bird at the 9/12 nutters and say “Get a brain you Morans!!”

Oh, “overexposure” my ass. After eight years of Bush refusing to poke his nose outside of his bubble, except for “Town Hall Meetings” where the participants were practically strip-searched for contrary opinions, it’s refereshing to have a president who’s secure enough in his own skin to venture out like this.

Those “death panel” dickheads have had things their own way for months. It’s good to see Obama fighting back.
