Rick Perry Oblivious To Recession
Tweet
As conservative as Texas might be, I doubt most people there would appreciate the governor laughing off the idea that the country is in recession.
Then again, Rick Perry was lieutenant governor to George W. Bush so this kind of stupidity is a feature, not a bug.

Our Gov is trying very hard to cement his image as a complete loony tune maroon buffoon, thereby presenting Kay Bailey Hutchinson as the sensible choice. It has be done on purpose; I can’t conceive of TWO nitwits like GW existing in a rational universe.
If Democrats wanted to win as badly as the Republicans do, this is the kind of thing that would be all over the place. Every living Democrat would talk about it no matter what question they were asked. And Republicans would be required to “distance” themselves from Perty.
If, that is, Democrats wanted to win.
Well, James, Perry has to survive a competitive GOP primary against Senator Hutchinson before he can even face a Democrat. I saw a poll a few days ago that had Hutchinson coming out slightly ahead of Perry in that race. Considering the comment of the latter individual highlighted here, I can’t imagine why.
