I think you’re reading this wrong. In the eyes of most advertisers, winning 18-49 means you win. Total viewers is nice, but if that could save you Bonanza would probably still be on the air.

I do hope he fails, as Jay Leno really does use some lame-ass stale jokes.

By the way, how exactly did ACORN become known as a proxy for the Obama administration? Especially since their community service functions have been funded for years, including under Republican congresses. Thinking this is ACORN=EVIL so therefore must be a secret arm of the Obama administration.

I love how the wingnuts assume liberals are as obsessed with ACORN as they are, and that failure to post about them daily indicates deliberate avoidance of the topic.

Of course when liberal blogs do overreport a story/incident concerning say, the lunacy of Palin or Beck, it’s evidence to wingnuttia that liberals are afraid.

I guess this line of reasoning makes sense if you peruse Con blogs – they are both obsessed with and fearful of Obama’s Muslim Socialist Agenda To Destroy America.

It says something about conservatives that the less truth there is to a conspiracy the more they fear it.

There’s nothing wrong with making fun of ACORN, in fact I linked to Jon Stewart doing just that.

Judging from the way my more conservative friends are posting that Jon Stewart segment to their Facebook profiles, they seem to have abandoned en masse their previous convictions that Stewart isn’t funny, is a “failed comedian”, etc.

Oh I hated Jay Leno long before he started making obvious jokes about ACORN. There’s nothing wrong with making fun of ACORN, in fact I linked to Jon Stewart doing just that. It’s the laziness of Leno’s comedy that offends me.
