It’s an entirely phony situation. You know, the previous stings on Planned Parenthood (pretending to be an underage girl impregnated by an older man) at least had some plausibility. I can believe that Planned Parenthood offices are visited by real people in that exact situation.

This charade doesn’t work the same way. Are you imagining that ACORN deals with real clients who tell them all about their plans to set up brothels?

If yes, it ought to be pretty easy to identify brothels broken up by police in ACORN funded properties. If no, then O’Keefe might as well have proved that ACORN is willing to offer assistance to the lizard race of Alpha Centauri.

Why is it funny? He’s an activist filmmaker. I’m sure he didn’t go in with the intent to prove ACORN employees were willing to offer assistance to those looking to form child prostitution rings, but that’s what came out.

Again, it kills me that what your only concern seems to be with what O’Keefe and Giles did and not what employees of ACORN did. It’s hard to keep track of all the criminal investigations ACORN has been under yet you think voting to strip them of federal funding is a bad thing. Unreal.

Ok, so the ACORN people are stupid. I’m sorry, but are all criminals supposed to be smart or something? Oh and the videos can be seen in their entirety.

After all their work on this expose, Jay, why are O’Keefe and Giles suddenly “unavailable”?

They’re unavailable to media outlets that simply parroted ACORN’s responses including their lie that O’Keefe and Giles went to “hundreds” of ACORN offices before they found what they did which isn’t true. Having a left wing hack like Joe Conason on to question O’Keefe’s ethics isn’t going to win them over either.

Maybe the media should have listened to Jon Stewart.

Tell you what. If a couple a people in bad Halloween costumes show up where I work and start talking all sorts of foolishness, the first thing that comes to my mind is not “I should take these people seriously,” or even “Golly I better watch what I say because these might be conservative ‘journalists’ who are going to post a highly edited version of this on the Internet.”

Who gives a shit what they’re dressed like? And no, the prostitution game may not be business as usual at ACORN, but criminal activity seems to infest a large portion of that organization whether it’s voter fraud, tax evasion or helping to assist in a child prostitution ring.

If the people in the ACORN offices believed their story, then yes, I agree that requires an extraordinary gullibility.

CNN attempted to reach O’Keefe and Giles; O’Keefe was not available for comment and Giles canceled an interview scheduled for Thursday.
